Open-Source In-Design?
NogsCrap, crap, mega crap.Crap, crap, mega crap.Registered Userregular
I'm trying to find a good free open-source software to make manuals, tech guides, etc. I know In-Design is usually the go-to software for this kind of thing. However, I would really like to find a good substitute that might be a bit cheaper(i.e. free or close to it). It would also be great if the program worked on both Mac and PC. Does anyone around here have any good suggestions?
I've never used it myself, but the standard package included in Linux distros (at least from my experience) is Scribus (http://www.scribus.net/); it has Windows and OS X ports as well.
