I was looking through the 2nd hand games in Blockbuster today, and a game called "H30 Surfing" or something like that caught my eye. My question is...WTF is H30? Does this chemical state of one part Hydrogen and 3 parts Oxygen actually exist, like Heavy Water or something? (I know it's not Heavy Water, I tried looking it up on Wikipedia...incidentally, I also just discovered that Water boils at 68 degrees Celcius on top of Mount Everest, due to the change in pressure.*strokes chin* Interesting.) Or did the marketing department convene one day, the chief announcing, "Gentlemen, we have two ways of making water sound more exciting. We can go with Chad's suggestion of calling it H20 "X-TREME"tm, or..."
H3O+ could probably be assumed if someone says H3O, hydronium is a fairly common molecule to be talking about.
To continue being completely semantic, it isn't a molecule, right? It's an ion. And I thought that it is pretty much fabricated anyway. You don't actually have H30's floating around, you have separate H+'s and H2O's, which they decided to lump together in the olden days.

Smoke lots of weed. Commercials tell me if you smoke weed, you stop caring about anything.
Yup. So I guess in this game you are surfing on concentrated acid. Sounds pretty hardcore.
3clipse: The key to any successful marriage is a good mid-game transition.
IOS Game Center ID: Isotope-X
Its not hardcore, its XTREME!!!
?
Man why didn't they hire me to name the game?
No, H3O+ is hydronium.
H3O is an attempt to sound cool.
Well yes, but it's still not right.
Damn people and not using nomenclature properly. :x
