Beginning to think I need to start binding buttons. I keep seeing all these spies do crazy shit like slap a sapper on a turret then take out their knife to backstab the engineer in under a second, and they may have a good system of key binding going on. The number keys aren't very useful for that.

I mentioned you in there, somewhere. *waves vaguely at essay*
I should really try out esdf see if I like the extra hotkeys. The angle feels slightly lopsided but I've never really considered it before. It does give you a lot of neat extra hotkeys.
But what do you need the extra extra ones for? So you can bind "Build a dispenser here" to a button?
Meh
Not for tf2 specifically, but there's other games where I felt like I was running out of hotkeys and had to do complicated ctrl +key and shift +key combinations.

Hey themocaw, it's too bad your right mouse button didn't happen to stick when you ubered that spy, eh
Man I thought I got a screenshot of that but I pressed F6
Getting that final flag capture sure was a journy, damn. First I bottled a pyro who lit me on fire at the last second, then I grabbed the intel and ran directly into a heavy, who somehow died in one bottle hit. Then a soldier shot a rocket at me at point blank range which killed him but left me with mind bogglingly little hit points. Finally I ran by a spy who was in our intel room sapping sentries.
Trying to play the game properly with less than ten people in the server is silly. If you have a small turnout and want to kill time while waiting for others to join, you know what to do:
TF2 is the first online FPS game I've played in a few years... I forgot how.... diverse the online community could be.
Like the drunk 14 year old on my team earlier who kept spouting racist comments over his mic, and when told to stop, said "I'm not saying anything racialist."
Then spent half an hour arguing that it was a real word and we were all wrong.
Funny story, he was right. (That it is a real word)

When I play as a sniper I'm always totally surprised when another sniper shoots me in the head. I guess I figured 'honor among thieves' and all that.
Oh to hell with that. My target order goes: Sniper > Medic > Heavy > Anything else. Basically, your job as a sniper is to be better than their sniper so your team can proceed and rush without your tanks being one-shotted. If you're able to do that then sniper is great as an all around momentum buster. See that heavy and medic pushing on one side? Bam, medic's potential uber is gone.
It's nice to kill a sniper that isn't looking at you, but I prefer when its a duel between me and him. Then it comes down to who can dodge and get a lock on the other guy's head. Granted, lately, I've been losing alot of those battles

I usually lose those deals, [whythefuckcantiworkbasiccodetomakeastrikeout]because the system is bullshit and doesn't register my awesomeness as enough for one hit kills[/whythefuckcantiworkbasiccodetomakeastrikeout] because I go for any body part hit, not just head shots.

Yea, as a sniper, you really should focus on head shots unless you know for a fact the other guy has like, 1 hp. Body shots means you need 2-3 hits to kill the other guy, and in that time, he could have blown your head off, whereas headshots are almost always instant kills.
So um, my most points per class graph is now officially way out of whack.
...How...how long did that game go on for? And...did you have like, a constant train of people going in and out of your teles?
Yeah there was a constant stream of people using my porter, it was probably charging more than it was not. But as for the game length for some retarded reason after the "timeleft 0:00" hit the game didn't go into sudden death. So for like an extra 20 minutes we were trying to get our last fucking flag, it was retarded.
My power supply has been slowly dying for a number of months. It died yesterday. Taking it out, taking it to the store to get it tested to make sure it was dead, getting a new one, and putting it back in, took up the longest four or five hours of my life. Why? This damn game...is corrupting my soul. I freakin' dream about it, but never in a good way. I threw a paper wad into a trash can that was significantly far away, and the Critical Hit noise went off in my head. My second job is at Burger King (don't...don't ask). I go up to co-workers I barely know and whisper into their ears, "The Whopper no mayonnaise is a spy." I haven't had a drink of Scotch in two weeks, you know why? It might mess up my below average performance. I haven't even played more than fifteen minutes of Episode 2. I finally got a video card that can run Bioshock, and I haven't even played more than fifteen minutes of it before I get bored of scary and just want comical, just want to hear a Scottish accent say "You great lactating wet nurse." I'm not even going to talk about how much sleep I get. Nope. Because you already know. That I don't get any. Flippy I want to be the first name on the list. The train is a lie. The cake is a spy.

A fun idea for that gif. Press ESC randomly and whoever's name it lands on, your job is to attempt to dominate that person in the next game you play with em.

In fact spies in general. Although I do love when you see one disguised and with your name "Wait a second..."
And I topped two PA games today. I'm so proud.

It will be added to.
So is anyone actually able to get a USB mic working with this game, or is my mic just fucked?

yeah that's real hard to do
try completely obliterating two foward bases and stopping 2 waves of reinforcements, all with the help of a friendly medic
I aim to have almost every regular on there eventually.
