If the match lasts for more than 30 secs. Usually on Hydro the map is over before I can respawn even once.

I like the pushing back and forth of Granary/Well. Losing one point doesn't mean defeat and you can always push them back again if you're getting up against the wall. Hydro it's one point and then ding! new map, and that's pretty irritating. It is more intense but I'd rather have the pushing back and forth on one map rather than loading up a new one every time for a new point.

Granary and Well are nice, and well suited to teams who have really good teamwork going, but I dunno. The firefights there often seem sparce and limited to big cap pushes. Hydro is always one continuous cap push.

I like some of the newer maps I've seen on the pubs. Warpath is OK, the one in the kitchen is lame, and there's one I forget the name of, but it has 7 capture points with a bridge in the middle.
edit: Also, Flippy I like it. It's like a necklace with ears or something.
I'm annoyed. I was like two headshots away from getting the Gray Matter achievement. But the other day I reset my stats (figured I had learned the game and the classes and why not), and apparently while it didn't reset achievements I had completed it did reset that one. So now it's back to zero.
Which is bad, because I suck at sniping.
And I prefer playing on PA servers, where there is always somebody on the team better at sniping that I am (and thus I'd be dead weight trying to complete it there).
But oh, how I hate pubs. I got four headshots today on pubs while waiting for a free slot on Job's server...so I guess I'll get there eventually. Just bitching, really.
I also have to get 10 kills with a sentry gun (got to 8 today before one of you damned spies sapped it) and put some people on my friend list...then my life will be complete.

I bought a new Logitech mouse so that I wouldn't have my right button stick any more. Goddamn I wish it had stuck then. It was hilarious afterwards, but at the time, I was incredibly pissed, and just thankful I had the presence of mind to let go of the right mouse button when I saw the ubered spy about to stab my friends in the back :P

I felt better the next game when I noticed a demoman acting strangely and decided to shoot him with my syringe gun just to be sure. . . then saw him suddenly spawn a blue suit and balaclava and start running into the intel room in 2Fort, chased him all the way down the ramp yelling SPY SPY SPY and such. . .

Were you the spy disguised as a demoman on granary who was running along with a bunch of soldiers and such towards the middle point and suddenly found yourself ubered by a clumsy medic? Who then tried to stab a bunch of guys in the back until the panicked medic turned off his medigun? Who was then immediately cut down by a heavy and a bunch of laughing soldiers? If so. . . yeah. That was great.

I think themocaw used his uber on a spy, then we retreated to the second point, where I eventually ubered him and was able to get a kill or two before dying.

I tested the new map downloads this morning and everything worked fine. I re-added cp_wolf, ctf_stronghold_b5, and ctf_turbine_v3 back into the server rotation. I left castle out because the file size is huge and it would take up the majority of the storage on the server. Let me know about any issues.
I think I've decided that I will only play Engineer when Arikado is either not on or is on the same side as me. It's just too frustrating being on seperate teams as him when he is Spy. He knows all the good Engineer spots.
I have got to say that I am getting annoyed at point capture maps. Every defense seems to be one coordinated Heavy Uber push away from being destroyed. I sat there as an engineer with 3 other Engineers, all turrets in a wide Semi-circle around the capture point. An Uber medic jumps in, all Turrets shoot at him while the Ubered Heavy comes in and mows down Every single turret.
Rest of the team floods in, and while getting shot and set on fire, they dance on the control point and it's enough to take the point and the map.
This is becoming all too common. I think Ubers and point caps happen FAR too quickly. Ubers should be a rare occurence to break a small stalemate, not an I Win button.
And as a scout I can capture a point, while being shot at, just by dancing around the point. It's silly.
