So as I sit here trying to wait for Gears of war to come to my PC, I need something to fill the gap with me and my LAN compatriots to fight our way through cooperatively. So I beseech you, the experts of all that is gaming, what games should we play? Independent or popular, it matters very little, as long as we can fight through the storyline as a team! I eagerly await any input you all can provide!
Baldur's Gate? Although when someone initiates a conversation, everyone has to stop and view it.
SWAT 4 isn't really a coherent campaign (in the sense that there's not an overarching storyline, at least unless you're playing the addon pack), but you can play all the way through the singleplayer campaign in co-op (maximum 5 players). It's awesome and tense. If you guys don't work together and co-ordinate, one rogue player can easily result in the entire team getting killed.

Vouching for this. Holy god.
I third the motion.
Friends and I still talk about the time Robby decided to be a dick.
This is one area PC Games are lacking, there just aren't enough good co-op games to play. Neverwinter Nights 2 and Mask of the Betrayer will last you a good while. Ground Control 2 lets you play all the single-player maps in co-op multiplayer. And you can never go wrong with System Shock 2.

Serious Sam 2 or do you mean "The Second Encounter"?

And the original, though I think HotU needed some work around alterations to the module.
