The Wii only have ONE good game coming in November and that's Super Mario Galaxy (which I will buy). Those other titles you listed can be ignored. Which is sad. What is what now? Like 3 good titles on the Wii in the span of a year and 80 party games? I should've bought an xbox.
if you can list 80 party games for the wii, i will buy you a 360 and a PS3.
i will buy you twelve
of each
scout's honor.
the wii has awesome software this holiday. if you don't think so, sucks to be you. i'd rather have fun with games you think are shitty than...not have fun.

Party games can be better than nothing at all. I suppose I agree.

80 party games is an exaggeration. Of course I didn't mean there's actually that many party games on the Wii. Hell I'd be happy if there's actually 80 games total on the Wii. Again another exaggeration. Because I am making fun of the lack of quality Wii titles available right now. I know it may be difficult for you to detect certain English mechanics so you take every word you read literally but it's fine. I'll just elaborate further on what I meant. Besides Zelda, Metroid, and Mario Galaxy, all the other Wii titles are low rate B titles that IMO are dismiss able. You may be easily amused by Mario Party 8 or Boogie or Cooking Mama or Wario Ware. But I like my games with a bit more depth. Your idea of fun may be to swing the controllers, wack the controllers, tilt the controllers and you can keep at this for hours on end for your enjoyment. And that's fine. But this gets old for me in about 5 minutes into any game.

Why did you buy the Wii if you seem disdainful of the motion control?
Even if they don't appeal to you I don't think it's fair to shove things like Trauma Center 2 and Zack & Wiki off to the side with a bunch of party games.

I guess I was expecting the Wii to come out with more games like Zelda and Metroid. Games that actually have a story and depth. And uses the Wii controller in a non gimmicky way. I was wrong and I regretted that. But it's not so bad because I still have one more reason to hold on to the Wii and that is for Smash Bros. Brawl. I'm pretty sure this is why a lot of people bought the Wii for. What a surprise though this game (from the looks of it now) doesn't seem to take advantage of the Wii's motion sensing capability and it's shaping up to be one of the better Wii games.
I've played Trauma Center on the DS and it's a decent game. Though I haven't touch the Wii version. I guess you can add this game to the Wii's whopping list of FOUR great titles.

This is my almost my entire Wii wishlist and if Gamestop is to be believed, these are already out or will all come out in the next six months. I need a job, bad.
With Korn this Saturday and Evanesence sometime in November, unless I get a lot of Saturday work, I see myself spending close to a grand on a pimping TV for family and maybe a few parts for my desktop, but I really think I will wait for my tax return for the desktop parts and buy them at higher prices but having more money at the time.
Man, and I thought it was bad when I was younger, and had all the time in the world but no money.
The opposite is far worse. I'll be able to buy most of the games I want to play, I just won't be able to play them.
Yeah, all my stuff sits at home unplayed while I work my tail off to get more stuff. Stupid consumer mindset!
Same boat here. The backlog is growing and there is no time.
The two 100% will bought no matter what games for me are Mass Effect and Rock Band. But knowing me I will be buying a lot more. Hellgate, VF5, CoD4, Assassin's Creed, Kane and Lynch etc. PSP is getting really damn tempting as well. In fact I almost bought one yesterday.
It got delayed again? Maybe it's for the best. After the first delay they shifted the game to make it more unrealistic action-ish, maybe this delay will lead to it being a slightly more realistic affair.

Maybe they'll use the extra time to upgrade it to Army of Four.

The first significant thing living here taught me is conformity costs money, and everybody pays.
I know it's been said before but Left 4 Dead should've been on that list - but now its bumped to 1q2008. That was all I was going to buy in November, now I don't know WHAT I'm going to do. Having PC Assassin pushed back to next year isn't helping either.

It should be out in the next six months, since it was released in Japan already, and I hear it is fantastic.

Maybe they're smart enough to realise that their game would be better served as a stop-over between really good releases than as a member of the holiday rush behemoths.

You should think about playing Gears of War out in two weeks, and a couple weeks after that grab UT3.

Words like: "I bet Army of Two will be entertaining but underpolished and short"

If wii games don't float your boat, whatever. My personal opinion is that you're wrong about the number of quality titles, and no, I'm not talking about games like mario party 8 or boogie. Like I give a flying fuck about your sophisticated gaming tastes anyway.
November is going to be so awesome. November 23rd and that whole weekend in particular. I have a long weekend with no work and it is going to be filled with Rock Band rocking out and Mass Effect. Mainly RB though.

It should be out in the next six months, since it was released in Japan already, and I hear it is fantastic.
I tried out the first GBA Fire Emblem and the Gamecube Fire Emblem, I really did try them, but I finally discovered that I really don't care much for Tactics games. Too much micromanagement and keeping your team balanced is a pain. I really wanted to love the Fire Emblem series but I couldn't, therefore no Fire Emblem: Goddes of Dawn.
Dragon Ball Z budokai Tenkaichi 3 I don't think I'll get, I tried out the second one and didn't really care for it. Don't see what will make me want the third one (also while I think the DBZ manga is fantastic, I don't really like the anime).
I honestly don't care about any of these games. At all. Not even Mario Galaxy, because I hate Mario in 3D (can't wait for New Mario Bros. 2 though). So I guess my wallet will be spared. Yay!
