Honestly, the series could end right here and I'd be fully content.
One other reference that was subtle, but I caught it and laughed.
When you're investigating as Edgeworth, show a female profile to Gumshoe and he'll mention Edgeworth's prowess with the ladies. Edgeworth has an internal monologue saying something to the effect of "Do I really give off a vibe that makes women flock to me?"
Clearly a reference to the weird fangirl obsessions that have become so prevalent.

I thought he actually used the phrase "frothing demand" which is another meme in itself.

He very well may have, I don't remember the exact wording.

The link to 'Final Turnabout Music' in the OP has good quality MP3s of the music in the first two games. The JFA soundtrack has Wellington's ringtone and Phoenix's ringtone.
It has the T&T soundtrack as well, but it is apparently GBA quality. I haven't downloaded that one so I don't know, but it might have Godot's ringtone. You could just use the "Fragrance of Dark Coffee" mp3 instead, because I think it's the same music.

The whole part where Phoenix was all " Aww me and Edgeworth need to hug it out when all this is done" made me go because I knew my friend would be all over that statement.
Like, you would be seriously surprised by just how much PW yaoi is out there. You'd think that just straight up hentai would be more prominent, but fuck that, the fan girls shall have their way!

It's Dahlia's testimony about the kidnapping, right? As usual, there's something that's impossible about the testimony. You don't have a lot of evidence that's relevant to the event, but consider what you do know about...the diamond, and the area map.
If you're at the point I think you're at, the fact that Mia is saying "I have to prove the kidnapping was staged" might be a red herring. Check some of the other statements against the court record.
Potentially a solution to a problem you haven't encountered yet, but I seem to recall getting hung up on the same wording you did:
Dahlia claims that she was trying to run past Terry, away from her sister. There's something suspicious about that.

I just bought the first game, and if I beat it in 7 days I can return it and get the second one according to the guy at Gamestop. Can I beat it in 7 days?
Also, I'm kind of bad at this game. I'm learning to pay more attention to every bit of evidence, at least, but I still have trouble determining what points to Press when cross-examining.

All of them, really.
Yeah, except in the VERY rare cases when the game makes it abundantly clear you'll get a penalty if you press the wrong thing, you might as well do more pressin' than an industrial iron.
Actually, although you should press everything, if anything sounds contradictory off the bat, or should describe a date or time or something but the witness is avoiding it, try pressing that first.
But yeah, everything.

Australia is totally shafted for each and every entertainment release ever.
Well the problem with pressing something obvious is that it may change testimony and you won't get to hear some of the funny stuff. Half of the humor comes from pressing the wrong stuff and hearing them ramble on about something. This is also the reason that whenever I encounter someone in the investigation stages, I choose talk and listen to all but 1 option. Then I present them all the evidence I have and see what they say. Then I do the last talk option and see if they go away.
Also oh my god case 5 is amazing so far. This makes up for case 2 in so many ways.

You and I have practically the same method. There's just a ton of stuff most people miss due to just following the main story.

My problem is I forget to save at the "Which point should I press?" segments and I always choose the right one. Then the testimony is changed and I can't get the choices again but I don't want to re-load my save and go through all the text again.

I do this a lot, too. Also, I agree with case 5; I take back everything I said about the earlier cases.
I'm still not done with it, but a lot of the facts are (or seem to be) in place now. Reading the burnt note was a big moment. Poor Pearl.
I know there's a twist coming, because there always is, and I bet it has something to do with Godot's disappearance. Dammit, I want to know what's going on!
I just picked this up the other day. It's amazing as I expected.
Okay, so I know it's not pronounced how it looks, but exactly how DO you pronounce "Godot?" I've been saying "goo-DOUGH," but I'm not sure if that's correct.
Also, wait, what issue did people have with Case 2? Nothing seemed particularly obtuse to me.
Also after reading the Wiki for Waiting for Godot to make sure I wouldn't miss any references or anything, it sounds like a really neat play that I need to read.
It took me too long to figure this out: Diego Armando. I mean, I figured out who he was as soon as I saw him in the flashback, of course, but the actual name stuff I didn't get until the end.

Ha! I thought the only mention of her would be the suit in Case 2; but nooooooooo, she just had to show up.

This site has a Phoenix Wright's ringtone...ringtone.
Also, there was a line where Phoenix said (second day of case 5)
Obviously he thought she was the hottest thing since Oldbag.

...And yeah, I thought that quote was a total dig at the Edgeworth fangirls. Which I am not one of. No, not at all.
