First case of the game: as 12-year old Edgeworth, defend 12-year-old Phoenix in the case of the missing class money.
That is not prosecuting though
We should be prosecuting
No no that would just be the prologue. Then Edgeworth muses on how he created his greatest enemy that day and goes into court to kick his ass as a prosecutor.

But I thought Edgeworth didn't want to become a prosecutor until sometime later when his dad died?

No that's correct, But Phoenix became a defense attorney because of that incident, and because he became a defense attorney he ruined Edgeworth's perfect record.

Right, but after the first AA game Edgeworth didn't really care about record or getting revenge on Wright, just that eventually the truth would come out.
So I'm currently in Case 2, Turnabout Corner, and on the second day of Investigation. I just got the slippers from the trash can in front of the People Park Entrance, and dusted it for footprints. Then I went back to Eldoon's House for a cutscene about trying to get into Meraktis Clinic, but now I can't find Ema Skye to find about whose footprints these are.
Oh god, Perfect Prosecutor sounds great. I wonder if it'll take place after the third Phoenix Wright game or when Apollo Justice takes place.
Also, the fact that I'm playing as Edgeworth is ace, because he's the only prosecutor who I didn't want to strangle. I hate you, Franziska. And to a lesser extent, Godot.
After finishing the game I still didn't like Godot. He just felt very mean for the sake of it. I know what his motivations were etc, but I felt like he was just being an ass.

So my friend lent my PW: Trials and Tribulations. I played the first Phoenix Wright (and loved it), but not Justice for All. Can anyone give me a quick story synopsis of the major events (insofar as they effect T&T)? I'd really appreciate it.
I'm sure everyone here would be willing to summarize the important plot points from JFA, but really, it's a great game, and playing it will help you enjoy T&T all the more.
So I was curious to see what the fan community had been doing with Phoenix Wright, and I stumbled upon this particular gem.
I then immediatly thought of all of you.

That post made me look up wtf Phoenix Drive is and there's a hilarious site with a 'walkthrough' of the game and a commentary of it. Needless to say it's hilarious.

I found that site too. The videos he posted are hilarious.
I got JFA a few days ago, and just started Case 3. Kind of apprehensive about it, what with people saying it was the worst case of the game. Oh well. Case 2 was pretty good.
Edit - Jesus Christ, that Phoenix Drive thing is hilarious.
"I hated her! Whooo! Wanted to murder it!! Whoooo!"
And oh god, the way Phoenix points at himself...priceless.
