[EDIT]ALMOST FORGOT, the initial loading. Over 2 minutes EVERY TIME? Unbelievable.[/EDIT]

Mine definitley has never loaded for two minutes.

The initial credits go for a long time on their own for sure, and once I need to get into my profile/HDD it sits on it for another good 10-20 seconds. All of it is unskippable too. Then there's the huge loading into the actual game itself.

Maybe i'm thinking more of how long it takes to get into the game itself, but given the options chosen along the way are pretty much start game > difficulty and that's it, it's a pretty boneheaded decision.

From the time I select Play Game from my Blade it doesn't load for more then a minute before I'm in the game itself. I think there may be an issue with your 360 maybe? Especially if it's breaking disks.
    D:

My 360 has never broken a disc or red ringed, but it's happened with two friends of mine already specifically with that game along with a bevy of red rings due to it. The long loading times are pretty commonly known in the game, but it wouldn't be surprising to me if there was an issue with my copy of the game or the 360, despite everything else working great on it.

A better tutorial? I just tended to kick and shoot things, it wasn't too tricky.

Give it a chance, although if I'm honest, I loved it from the moment I started playing it. Leaping through the air, blowing up gas tanks, throwing grenades under cars. It was all great. I guess I got to appreciate the higher skill levels earlier on though, as the demo had you levelling up ten times faster than in the retail game, so you could appreciate what a fully powered up agent was like!

::Edit:: More to do? There's rooftop races, there are stunt markers to drive through in cars, you have bosses to hunt down. If you download the update you also have rocket tag and a few other game modes too

I'm not online so more game modes don't do me any good. And, like I said, I hate races. Little secondary mission would have been neat. Hell, even more collecting. I love collecting. But, really, I already get to find 500 agility orbs and what, 300(?) hidden orbs? That should do me. But "Go kill him, now go kill him , oops kill them" just seems dull. But, like I said, this is based on about 2 hours of playing only.

The thing with the game is that they don't give you any missions to do, I think that's kinda why I like it. The main meat of it is you have these bosses on different islands and you have to take them down. That's it. You're not forced in to any order or even in to doing anything. I love how open it is.

If you want at the very start of the game you could swim around to the Shai Gen island and take on the final "boss", right at the start.

If you're after extra incentives/things to do then check the acheivements, they're some of the most fun to get in any game :)

It's very VERY possible to take down Wang without taking out any of the other bosses too.

Definitely possible. I actually went in before I took on any other Shai-Gen bosses just to see how far I could get, and I managed to get to the top and kill Wang. Threw his body off the top in celebration.

I haven't gotten the opportunity to try coop yet, so I would totally be down if anyone is interested.

The Peacekeeper Dunebuggy has much better guns than the Supercar, and can be aimed separately from your steering.

Really? I haven't tried the dunebuggy properly yet. I just levelled my shooting up before the additional content came out. That said I'm still only on 3 stars for shooting, I tend to only use guns that go boom (and the harpoon gun).

Driving seemd like a hard skill to raise until I found a circular area and drove laps with the truck, veering into any gang cars I saw along the way.

I just took the car out, got the wrong way on the highway and smashed in to as many gang cars as I could find. Normally you launch them far enough to kill the people inside and get driving points.

This was great before the patch. Now Optimus is a death trap. One bullet or explosion by the gastank kills him. It didn't use to be like this.

The Agency Vehicles do not have targettable gas tanks. Are you sure that's the case?

Ohhhh, how I wish I was wrong. Take Optimus out for a spin and see what happens. I don't know about the targetting thing. But, if you manually aim at the gastank and shoot it, it goes boom. Additionally, if you smack a car with Optimus, and it doesn't go flying, Optimus dies. If a car blows up ANYWHERE near Optimus he goes boom. It doesn't kill you, but it destroys the truck.

I checked this as recently as a couple of months ago. There were petitions on the official boards to get it changed. Optimus was my favorite vehicle in Crackdown.

Before you get in it, it looks like cartoon Optimus, but when you enter it and it transforms, it looks like movie Optimus. Combined with the red paintjob, you have gaming nirvana...

....that is, until you hit a car.

Very sad. Still a great game, though.

As far as I'm aware, no way to tell. Everything outside a couple of weapons is pretty generic, though, and you can tell those ones because you'll be getting shot out of the air with them.

There is no way to tell if you have it in your Supply Point. The different colors differentiate between a weapon you have on you currently and one you don't.

I can only assume that this was done for "balance" as Optimus was practically indestructible before the patch. But, they obviously went too far the other way and made him Rodimus instead.

I can't really think of a use for the Cab now. I've even tried skill runs where I specifically attempt to avoid explosions, but I can still only last 20-30 seconds.

I love this game. Just got a 360 last Friday and it was one of the titles's I picked up with it. I just started on the Volks and the difficulty has increased two-fold...which is good, I was starting to feel a little too god-like. It's like someone took all the greatest parts of GTA and The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction and put it into one game.

I've always preferred cruising around in civilian cars, myself. The agency vehicles are WAY to ridiculous to drive once you've got 4-star driving, there is pretty much no skill involved. Stealing someone's old-jalopy and bookin' it down the freeway is the way to go.

And anyway, the hardest building to climb in the game isn't the agency tower. It's the building with the orange-dome in the first section of the game.

Edit: And in the event of a sequel, I hope they would create some more difficult buildings to climb, maybe give your agent a few different climbing styles to juggle or something like that.

Did they add the camera effects with the DLC, or was it always there? Because if so, it's more pronounced now. I feel my stomach turn from vertigo as i try to perch atop the pole on top of the Tower, then do a backflip when jumping off into the water as the view distorts. I guess it's the focal length changing or something.

It's been in there since it launched. The ads actually update from time to time. There were movie posters for 300 when it was in theaters, etc. That's what causes the epic huge load time at the beginning, it looks for new ads to download, and stops any background downloading that you're doing.

wait, does that mean it loads faster if you're not online? Could that explain why it seemed to load faster for Magic Pink than others (assuming he doesn't have Live)?
