Ok, so
this is my motherboard right now, and I currently have two 512-mb chips in there (for approx. 1 gb).
I want to have 2 gigs though, and I noticed when I scanned my computer using Crucial.com's scanner, I had two RAM slots that were unused.
Now, looking at
this image leads me to believe that those two slots in the bottom right are the unused RAM slots....if I am right, what kind of RAM would fit in there?
Is there something on the tech specs I am missing?
(this is the first computer I have ever built, so please forgive my ignorance)
tl:dr- looking at my motherboard, do I have to buy a matching set of 1gb sticks to get 2 gigs, or is there space to add more...(maybe even add a set of 1gbs in the extra slots, giving me 3gbs?)

I don't know about Crucials scanner, but I always use PC Wizard to find out what a board is and what it will support. You can find it here. It will tell you how many slots you have, how many are in use, and what you can put in there.
MODS- Feel free to lock! solved!
