this method works much better

The Far SideonI'm classified as learning disabled in written and oral expression.

Managed to work past that difficulty without any help from the vapid cunts in resource.

One period a day, for four years, I could have been doing something that actually was worthwhile, as opposed to doing homework and reading.

hey guys did you know that if you're integrating a function that can be reduced to the form sqrt(x^2+a^2) and substitute that form with a*tan (theta) (or maybe it's asectheta) and also maybe replace dx with the perfect differential? I don't know, that makes it easier to integrate

KazhiimonNo, she had to leave the party early. You know how old people are.

Mr. ShineonThe Far SideonFor the 3 times a year that I needed help, there were people who needed a hell of a lot more help than I did. I just stuck it out, got my work done, and helped out when I could.

potatoeonThe Far SideonYou know, you kind of have the same problem here

Who knows though, maybe your stubborn attitude will end up working to your advantage later in life.

Maybe

potatoeonwellllwhy aren't you on MSN/AIM eh

The Far SideonThere were definitely kids who needed a lot more help than me. I was completely self-reliant in that class, most of the time because it was math homework, and math and science are my best subjects. The rest of the time, I didn't want to pull them away from the kids who

reallyneeded the help. And my papers all came back OK, so I didn't worry about it too much.

it's really easy and short and i don't care if it's good

i just don't want to do it.

i have 5 dollars and i can suck a golf ball through a garden hose

Kadithonbecause as soon as i log on i am admitting defeat and my paper doesn't get written at all

at least this way i still get

somework donepotatoeon1). Evaluate integral ((sqrt(9-x^2))/x^2 dx)

let x = 3sinO where -pi/2 < O < pi/2 then dx=3 cos O dO and sqrt(9-x^2) = sqrt(9-9sin^2O) = sqrt(9cos^2O) = 3 |cosO| = 3cosO

note that cosO > 0 because -pi/2 < O < pi/2

thus the inverse substitution rule gives

integral((sqrt(9-x^2))/x^2 dx) = integral(3cosO/9sin^2O * 3cosO dO)

= integral(cos^2O/sin^2O d0) = integral(cot^2O dO)

= integral(csc^2O - 1 dO)

= -cotO - O + C

KazhiimonMr. ShineonMy excuse is I don't know if I have an msn id anymore.

I never have used AIM.

BrainleechonOh yeah that's way easier to remember

Your face.Mr. Shineonso if x = 3sinO, then x/3 = sinO

so you draw the triangle and figure out the cotangent

Kazhiimoni just hate it

well, when you're doing calculus with trig it is a thing

he uses phrases like "oh my goodness" in a heavily accented voice when he can't find a working marker or messes up

i would say he is like a black, male, ethiopian tfs

potatoeonthis is round three for calculus 3 for me, technically

on paper its only the second time ive taken it, but i got a D in calc 2, then had the same retarded teacher for calc 3 and failed it. so over the summer i retook calc 2 at a community college in dallas, but it was the exact same material for calc 3 in oklahoma.

and that teacher got fired and now i have a male teacher for my second attempt at calculus 3 and im soaring though it. male math teachers are way better that female math teachers.

the infinite series exam we took for that first class, 3 people

passedand the rest averaged about a 37% on that test. but this time around this professor is much better.tuggaonSTEAM!

i don't know

potatoeonhe had black chalk he'd use to write on the wall above the chalk board when he ran out of space, because he didn't want to erase anything and nobody behind the first row could see the bottom of the board

Kazhiimonare you basing this on the one bad female math teacher you've had?

because i've had some wonderful female math teachers that actually taught it very well

potatoeonit fascinates me
