Size wise, anything 120Gb or over is awesome and i'm a little hesitant about the Seagate drive becuase the two previous drives I've had die in this MacBook were Seagate. Also, I'm ideally trying to keep it under $125 (I could go up to $150 tops).
I'm thinking these look pretty good, however, i have never shopped for a notebook hard drive so I dont really know what i'm doing. Any help is appreciated.
This god damn laptop has been nothing but problems
I have a seagate in my macbook and it's fine... though one died, but that was because I dropped my laptop.. uh, oops. At least they have a good warranty.

The review on the Toshiba HD being slow is probably related to the fact that the drive is a 4200 RPM drive. Slower RPMs usually means slower seek times.
The Seagate listed there has the fastest RPM (7200) however the faster RPMs come at a higher price, which is why it's more expensive than the WD drive, but with less capacity. I haven't had much luck with Seagates either, however, my coworker (sys admin) maintains that there's no sure bet when buying hard drives. One year Hitachi HD's are the shit, next year they're crap.
Personally, I dislike WD hard drives since I've not gotten any that have been very good, but that was a good 3 or 4 years ago now. The WD drive listed there also runs at 5400 RPMs which should have better seek times than the Toshiba drive, bit since it's not the highest RPM, you're not paying a premium for the drive.
I'm a big fan of Hitachi drives (formerly IBM) so I'd probably get something like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822146200 However, I have no concrete evidence that the Hitachi drives are any better, it's all just anecdotal.
If I had to choose a drive from the 3 you listed, I'd go with the WD drive.

Hitatchi http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822146200
and this Samsung http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductReview.aspx?Item=N82E16822152051&SortField=0&SummaryType=0&Pagesize=10&SelectedRating=-1&Page=4
Any thoughts? If no one responds I think i will go with the Hitachi since the samsung appears to be slightly slower in the specs.
