I need a cod piece

So I have a costume idea lined up for halloween, BUT it requires a cod piece....any ideas where to find or (and this is probably what i will have to do) how to make a decent one?

    Get a sports one. Presumably you want it to be seen, so get an extra-large one if they have sizes.

    Man I hope it isn't the clockwork orange costume that shows up to my party every year. Sometimes in triplicate. If it is a new and novel use for the cod piece please share, cause I'd like to know it.

    Also craigslist is a huge costume resource. The guys that were Alex last year need to supply the Alexes of this year.
