I think I'm done with Pokemon in Smash. Pikachu, Pokemon Trainer, and be done with it. Please.
Pokemon is one of Nintendo's biggest franchise. It also just so happens to have hundreds of characters, many of which are extremely well-known. I don't think there's anything strange about it having a lot of representation in Smash. Melee had 3 unique Pokemon, Brawl will probably have 4, 5 at most.

Brawl already has four.
That's less than 1% of the roster. That's like if the only Mario character being in was Mario's mustache.
Don't get me wrong I love me some pokemon. I played the hell out of red/blue when I was younger and you can bet your buns I played Diamond and Pearl for a near complete pokedex. Sure it's a big franchise for Nintendo but really now do we need 5 of them? which would make that really 7 of them. And then we drown in pokeballs. I'm all for putting tons of pokemon in but not playable. Pokeballs sure but really 5 seperate pokemon characters?

pshaw. So far the number of playable pokemon has doubled in every single smash brothers game, and I expect Brawl to continue this long standing tradition.

It is the second biggest franchise behind the Mario series. I'm not saying there should be 10 pokemon characters, but 5 seperate pokemon characters is not that out of the question. Zelda had "5" characters in Melee alone, though 4 is probably more accurate.
Pokemon makes Nintendo a lot more money than Zelda does.
Pokemon Trainer is the only thing Nintendo can add to the roster. None of the new Pokemon are going to be playable.
I'm satisfied with Pokemon Trainer really, as it looks like a fun, cool, and unique character despite it only truly acknowledging the first generation of the games. That said, I also wouldn't be surprised if Lucario were playable in Brawl.

I wouldn't be surprised if we got some random as hell pokemon in just for being Sakurai's favorite. Though that may already have happened with Kirby I mean Jigglypuff.

Pokemon Trainer is going to be one of the most adaptable characters in the game. Knowing how to play a character is usually the best way to know how to beat them, but he's gonna be more important in that regard.

Pokemon Trainer makes me wonder whether Nintendo will add team battles (like KoF) to VS mode. It would be a rather cool addition if they did. I mean, they already let you do that in that one mode where you can play co-op in...
Seriously? Why would it be "Hi"? I figured it was bye, due that most all taunts are done after a KO. When they're flying away.
He's saying "Hi" to the crowd, or to the players. Or, specifically, to the player who got his ass kicked by the pink puffball. His taunt is one of the few that actually irks me.

make it so.
So the way it works is that:
(1.) The spikes are connected to the moving platforms. (I highly doubt you can do this, but a boy can dream, can't he?)
(2.) You can stand on the non-spike covered part of the moving platforms.
(3.) The vertically-moving spikes move a few (maybe five?) seconds after the horizontally-moving ones.
(4.) The horizontal spikes cover all of the upper platforms.

ahahaha yes
If you want to deny someone a true victory, you climb down the ladder to suicide! (nice Snake Man stage design though)
Didn't see if this was done before...

Anyways Missingno for Brawl.
Maybe I should add some moving platforms down there. Yeah, this is the first stage I'm going to make.
Lickilicky confirmed
Thats clearly not angry enough for American audiences.
Am I the only the reminded of that creepy drawing of Kirby with the giant teeth and such?
The music of this stage would just be Kirby's taunt on repeat.
BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
This may be true, but the "how to draw Kirby" bit at the beginning of Kirby's Adventure holds a special place in my heart.
That could work, trying to escape from an opponent might cost you a life.
It is without a doubt "Hi".
