Camera Lens Adapters?

I've got a canon rebel xti camera and a Schneider-kreuznach tv studio lens. Does anyone know if there are adapters you can buy so that the studio lens can mount on the canon eos? It's just a bit bigger. I'm no expert on mounting sizes so i'm not sure on the sizes of either =( I know they make adapters for the other way around. From what i could gather the studio lens is a 1/2 mount size...but i could totally be wrong.

When it comes to using non-native mount lenses on an SLR it's not as simple as "will the small peg fit in the big hole?"

According to this person, no. You cannot use your lens on your rebel.

I'm basing this off what your link said - that the Schneider lens is a c-mount. The easiest way to find out if a lens can be adapted to your rebel is to google "c-mount to eos adapter" and replace c-mount with whatever mount of the lens in question. The link I posted stated the lens' back distance is too short which basically means it's not worth even trying to use it on your camera because you would need additional optics that would be both expensive and degrade the quality of the lens.
