The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
IT, the Birds, also there was a really scary episode of button moon where they went to the zoo and there was a really sinister lion made out of blocks, but then teddy knocked it down and all was well.
I honestly haven't seen a movie that's scared me in forever.
And watching horror movies is a hobby of mine.
Especially bad ones, those are the best.

As a kid, watching It on TV when it was on primetime scared the piss out of me.
As a young adult and even to this day, I would consider Event Horizon the most terrifying movie I've ever seen. And I watch a LOT of movies.
On a side note, I just watched Dead Alive last night for the first time. While not frightening, it was quite possibly the most gory movie civilization has ever produced.

Correct. My wife couldn't have timed it any better either, walking in when the dude was walking through the foyer with the lawnmower strapped to his chest.
I was laughing at the ridiculousness, she was in utter shock. It was a Christmas card moment.

I remember watching Wayne's World when I was off school with nausea, and the bit where the camera's spinning round and they're going WHOOOOOAAAAAH made me vomit uncontrollably.
Event Horizon scared the everliving shit out of me
Event horizon was a good tool for teaching me that just because it has spaceships in it does not mean I am in the Sci-Fi section of the movie store. Also I was like 10 or 12.

You bought a certificate 18 film with 'INFINITE SPACE, INFINITE TERROR' on the front and expected what exactly?

I expected to be infintely entertained by an action movie with spaceships. Also I just looked up the cast from that movie and Laurence Fishburne was the captain. He sure did do some crazy stuff after Peewees Playhouse.

Just thought of another while sitting here at work. I watched Sleepaway Camp about two months ago. It was about 99% crap, but the last 5 minutes were scary as hell. Craziest. Ending. Ever.
If you remember the face that is frozen at the end of the movie...UGH#T^(T@

i remember my babysitter taking me to see Ruby when i was a wee lad. still affected by it. had some dead guy stuffed into a drink vending machine with all the tubes stuck in him. then some fat broad comes and gets a drink out of it, gah.

also the wizard in the wizard of Oz was pretty scary for a young boy
That movie scared the shit out of me as a child.
And now movies don't scare me anymore.
