Woo played medic tonight and ended up getting 7 invulns and the guy I ubered throughout the match got 52 kills in 1 life. I occasionally suffered from crit rockets.
I would have a cool photo of him killing me later on as a pyro after i got autoswitched but photobucket seems to not like .tga files and I don't have the shit to change it.
Edit: I was the only medic at that time and after that phenomenal round there were about 4 more medics and more soldiers who he was playing as. I got switched that following that.

no fucking way someone can get 52 kills in one life. you sir, are a liar.
Though I guess it's common. Someone here got like 70 some kills on a pub I guess filled with stoned 12-year-olds.

The hydro map with the cp for the defenders in a circular raised platform and three ways into the base?
That got defended yesterday by me and Bama and others on a PA server and the people we were playing were not idiots. I've also defended the other hydro base. It really does require extraordinary team work and high skill, but it's very possible. I no longer blame the map design here.
You simply can't run about like loosely connected individuals (chickens with your heads cut off) like most maps and approximate a team by blind luck and random "hey, maybe we should push since we managed to kill em all?". If your team is composed of that, these are the maps that tear it apart without mercy. Nobody ever gets it though, they just dismiss it with "This map sucks, nobody can defend this." and don't learn anything. A team can defend it.
Coincidentally both defenses I participated in I was playing heavy rather than medic. Broke my kill and damage done record with the one last night too heh.
Man I sucked so bad today the bit I played though, got a new mouse mat and its a really good surface for my laser mouse but so sensitive. I turned my sensitivity up to try to get used to a higher one as well and I would jerk and shoot the sun.
Got the hang of it near the end but gonna take a few days to fully get used to it I think. I just quit because I was being a ridiculously bad liability to my team. Very precise fine movements though, just need to reign back on the overcompensating I've built up using the old sensitivity/shitty surface the mouse was on.
Good news or bad news depending on how you take your Morninglord is that although I am currently shaped to 128k, my ping did not change nor did my game experience on either local or PA servers. Good thing for me as I have nothing much to do other than TF2 in terms of new games and wasn't looking forward to a week of replaying old games. I got up to Xen in HL1 before thinking "Hey, I should test PA servers."
Lastly, what size should I resize these screenshots I have to? I've never posted screenies before. What do you guys use?

(PSN: Morninglord) (Steam: Morninglord) (WiiU: Morninglord22) I like to record and toss up a lot of random gaming videos here.
And Morten Harket explains his sexy, soothing singing voice.
The spy may have that general air of sophistication, but nobody appreciates classical music like the heavy.
That defense on Hydro yesterday was phenomenal, and I was even playing a medic! It really was fantastic teamwork and communication that did it. Whenever a lightly defended entrance got pushed, someone called it and soldiers/demos responded quickly. Spies also got called quickly and eliminated, leaving engineers able to concentrate on keeping up with the regular damage to their constructions.
We carried that momentum into the next sectoin and won, then my connection went down during the following section, so I never got to see how it ended.
I guess I like being one of 2 medics. Makes you feel important, but it doesn't sate my bloodlust. Anyway, some fun from the past couple of days (cut down from 1920x1200 so quality isn't great):
Decoy is a pretty princess
Tyrun defends the point rather epicly
Garthor realises he's about to be bonesaw'd
And I thought this was pretty epic

Yeah JJ, that was me. I posted a week or so ago a few screenshots of me playing in a pub FILLED with complete tools. In one life I got 78 points, 60 kills, 28 assists, 9 dominations, 12k+ damage, and I stayed alive for 38 minutes as a soldier on some gross custom map. Hence why I only play on PA servers now because there's no way that should ever happen... ever. My next highest is a 34 pointer on PA as a "defensive, hiding in corners" sniper, and as ridiculous as that sounds, 78 is more them being horrible than me being good.
This just proves the need for PA servers.
PS DON'T EVER TAKE A JOB AS A BUSINESS ANALYST. TRUST ME.
Had so much fun playing Pyro last night guys, thanks for the good matches. I swear though, I think I heard some enemy snipers cursing me out last night from a distance, I had a special purpose to see their burning corpses lie at my feet.

I make it a point to find spies and snipers. Spies just 'cause, and snipers because they're always killing me right before I get to a large group of his friends.
I like to disguise myself as another class of my team at the start of the round when we're all at the gates glaring at each other to not advertise the fact that we have a spy.

Respawning on Well and dicking around with my fists out until I get to the frontlines. Walk into one of those tiny corridors to see an enemy pyro heading back to our 2nd point. He lights me on fire for a brief second before I sucker punch him and knock him out cold. Then having the 2 engineers who were chasing him see me walk out of the hallway and laugh.
I either think that was me, or I was watching that happen while dead. Was quite awesome.
I felt like either everyone was critting me last night or I just was having some bad luck. I could't survive anything. I rotated around some classes and learned I still have no aim whatsoever.
I am glad though I had a few random kills followed by axe taunts, quickly followed by me dieing. Useless, but so worth it.

Thats my strategy on 2fort as a spy, every other map though its not really worth it due to multiple entries. The whole " - " key is so cumbersome trying to reach while running.
Although, I'm not sure if you can, but scripting keys to certain friendly and enemy disguises would be cool to make for people who play spy often.
My strategy as Heavy involves both never stopping shooting and always shooting. Basically, when in doubt, shoot. When not in doubt, shoot. Also, yelling does help. Along with shooting.
Wanted an excuse to post this from my sigfile. Really though, I think RandomEngy had something superb to say in this:
"Position yourself before you spin up."
In other words, use your shotgun until you're ready (that includes close enough) to unleash hell in the form of a steady stream of $200 bullets. Push up with, or behind, your teammates. Do NOT start spinning up if you can see a sniper at all and he's looking at you. Be totally vigilant for your medic's safety. Constantly check over your shoulder for spies. Lead your aiming slightly at close range. Never push by yourself or with just your medic unless you're ubered, in which case you probably should have waited for your teammates anyway. If you have sufficient health and reflexes, catch a rocket or two meant for your medic.
And based on my experiences, crouching doesn't seem to improve your aiming cone at all.
yeah. Never just stand around at a distance as a heavy. Get up in their face and start unleashing hell. Think of the minigun as a medium range flamethrower.
Usually gets me good results

will you do the taunt move of a Spy or the taunt move of Pyro?
The only case where Spies can taunt while disguised is if its as an enemy Spy.

People from 'clans' play on the servers?
Okay, I almost died laughing at this just now...
I see a lot of [CI] people, and there have been a few others.
I'm an even worse spy, mind, but man, I suck with a Heavy.
Don't shoot anything at long distance.
You do, like, two damage.
Make sure they're within around a sentry gun range before you start spraying bullets at people.
Lead your targets. It'll help.
Don't assume your medic buddy will heal just you. Also, don't become completely suicidal when you have a medic.
