Aran is fun but not with certain people who were baby sat
I made fun of a mage who it took 9 times to kill them to learn that the blizzard is not something you stand in and run away from his arcane blast
Agreed. But definitely one of the few fights in the entire game where it is worth turning game sound on!
"Would you deny an old man a drink?..."
If you have anyone with the Atiesh he says Where did you get that ?? Did He send you?
Compared to running around like a chicken with it's head cut off after flares? It's a welcome break for me when I play my rogue
I have never been that far into kara with my warlock so I don't know how much fun that fight is
Run around? Bah, when my guild do it we all just bunch up just behind the curator so the flares don't zip around and kill them off on the spot.

When I did it they had this U shaped where everyone was
I tried to say that everyone do something like what you said would have been easier but one person
I don't have any arcane resist gear and if I take the pot it removes another one rant goes it's back to the U formation
Back before Windrunner was the allaince only server the horde was really good at pvp
Now you cannot even touch the towers around Auchindoun without getting mauled by 5+ allaince at the same time
It's going to get worse as two of the top guilds have left the realm
Meaning the people that killed Nef have left the realm or quit the game leaving the horde a ghost town
I hope someone remembers to lock up and turn the lights off before they leave
Wearing AR gear is bad at Curator. Very bad. Since I haven't said this in a while: Dampen Magic is king. It lowers spark damage by about 30%.
In fact, there isn't a single fight anymore where you should wear AR. Though i have no doubt magic junkie Kil'Jaden, or one of his cronies, will require the karazhan epics. (Just like you never need the heroic FR set on tanks until Illidan).
The problem was is the mage was the mother of the priest and holy paladin who joined up to the guild
The priest was ok and the paladin was cool the mother had her hand held all the way
So it was like talking to the wall if you wanted to do something different as a strat.
I ment to say this instead of the arcane resit gear since that was thier common excuse
Guh I'm running very low on cash. I'm down to 500 gold. Respecing weekly for pvp and buying mats for flasks are taking their toll, and I don't have time to farm much money.
3) I hear rogues complain about no spiteblades? Im sorry, your kidding right? He drops healing belts?
Exalted since ... April, I think? Maybe late March, and I've never seen a Spiteblade drop. Ever. I know of one warrior that dual-wields the fucking things on my server, and several of my old guild's rogue alts had them, but not one has dropped for me.
Also, the Drape of the Dark Reavers from Aran. I don't think I've ever seen that drop either, and it's the last thing I want/need from the instance. I drag alts through that place once a week to help the guild alt/enchant hunting crew out, and swap to my rogue for Aran. It. Never. Drops. I don't get outrolled, and I suspect I wouldn't even have to roll if it did drop, but yeah, it's usually a wand and some mail shoulders or some shit that nobody wants.
My hatred of the RNG knows no bounds.

I don't PuG heroics, though I suppose I could on my rogue and feel fairly confident. I do, however, PuG a LOT of regular instances, and what I do is pick the character I'd like to hit, LFG their three instances, maybe say something in the LFG channel itself, and then go do something. Grind a rep, do dailies, hit up some quests, or just farm up a primal. I don't know about DI, but on my server it can take significantly longer than 20 min to get a crew rolling. By being in the LFG channel you let others know you're around, which makes it at least a little bit more likely that they'll grab you to form a group.
Look at it this way; you log in, look around for 20 min, log out. What if a bunch of other people did the same? Rather than seeing people all looking for the same group, they log on, find no one looking to do anything, and log off.
It's not foolproof, and until you get that exorcism, it might just lead to more suffering (yours, others, whoever), but I find it to be a more consistant way to get groups on my alts.

Yep. What's that? No Vashj robes again? And no less than five people who still want them? I'M GOING TO BE WEARING FROZEN SHADOWEAVE UNTIL THE NEXT EXPANSION OMFG.

Forar I can feel Oboro's pain. We are on the same server, and yes, no one wants to run a heroic EVER. PAA or otherwise.
I have just as hard of a time trying to get a heroic, and I'm a Resto fucking shaman.
And for me, it's a little bit worse, since, well, all I can do is SIT there while waiting in LFG since I have All of Netherstorm and Shadowmoon Valley left to do and zero dailies unlocked since I am trying to gear up for t5 content right the fuck now.
I managed to snag my Midnight Legguards early on, which is probably part of your problem. I don't know about your server, but on mine, the tanks and then healers get what they want from an instance pretty quickly (as they are dwarfed by the dps population), and as such, if they don't need something, their inclination to go lessens dramatically. I don't fault them for it, but it's the flip side of the dps coin.
DPS is frustrating because nobody wants you, so you stress about having to get into places and get things done.
Tanking and Healing can be frustrating because everybody wants you, so you stress about having to go to places for other people to get things done long after you've gotten everything you could possibly want. No more rep, no more nethers, no more gear, nothing, it's just some shithole that a bunch of PuG dps want to drag your sorry ass through and that may or may not set you back 20-50 gold in repairs (depending on what you're willing to stick out). Thus, I imagine for many of the heroics, what you and Oboro and others are facing is simply an utter lack of tanks/healers that need anything anymore. (yes, my gift for stating the obvious is truly astounding)
Hopefully the new Heroic Badge gear will be enough to drag them back en masse. The one up side is that while most non-hybrid dps only have to build one 'suit', many tanks and healers will often maintain 2 or more, so they'll have a higher vested interest in hitting said instances to either improve their 'main' or 'off' suit, or perhaps both.
TL;DR version: Things might get better for Heroic grouping/PuG'ing as of Tuesday.

We actually have a problem of too many healers and occasionally not enough DPS wanting to run heroics. If you can swindle someone into tanking (no one but one of the prot-on-the-weekends paladins usually wants to) and say "LFM heroics" in guild, like an equal number of DPS and healers want in. It's dumb and unfortunate that five-mans require a 1-1-3 ratio while raids require more like 2-7-16.
Also, healers and tanks are now working on gearing up our dps alts... and want to take those guys through heroics. I wish the DPS'rs were working on their tanking and healing alts... but most of them aren't.

Strangley, this mirrors the situation on DI.
No tanks, very little DPS/CC, and a fuckton of healers.
Surprisingly, we all dissapear when it comes to raiding .

I was in a Arca PUG before. We had a full team, and the leader kicks out our warlock and invites a hunter. Everyones pissed, but the team had taken ages to get going so no one said anything and we went about our work. The hunter was fucking awful, I think he did about 7% of the over all damage. We pull the hunter up on his awful DPS, and then we found out that the leader was actually the hunters mom, and throughout the rest of the instance she was saying things like "it's ok honey, you're doing great" and, my personal favourite, "Honey, you have an ignore list for a reason".
I never got that +shadow necklace from kara. NEVER
I was there for the firstkill of malchezaar on my server, I was exalted shortly after and NEVER saw it drop.. UNTIL I was in there with my druid, for a kara-twink-run... :,(

Last night our only plate wearer was a Prot pally and FOUR pieces of healing plate dropped, as well as three pieces of tanking plate. We ended up DEing most of the drops, but the pally got SIX plate pieces (We don't DE anything that can be used even for sets you have but aren't specced for).
I haven't gotten a Kara upgrade if freakin' forever. Oh well. I got the Shatar exalted Gavel, so I'm past the threshold for the Circle of Healing change.
I'm sorry to dampen high spirits, but I need some advice.
As you can see here, I'm in quite a bind. Many of the well geared raiders in our guild have formed a mass defection. However, more and more people are leaving the guild. I don't want to lose the people that are staying with the current one, but at the same time, what's happening is way too depressing, and I think I may need a fresh start. They keep telling me that it's going to be fine, but I'm not so sure. In this kind of a situation, should I stick with my guild and help keep it going, even though most of the people that I trusted backstabbed me and left. Or should I leave the guild on good terms and join a different guild.
I don't have alot of experience with this kind of thing, so any advice would be appreciated.
