    You want more proportion practice, Raven. The figures are going from too small at the head to too big at the bottom. Or, the heads are too small.

    I'm pretty sure that rule only applies to color drawings because a white background makes colors look too dark (or is it too light? I forget).

    Its mostly a rule that applies to people learning how to color, and that white backgrounds do different things for color relationships. Some people do like to tone their paper, my drawing teacher made us and my life drawing teacher despised it, so it depends. I think myk needs to use harder brushes, the face is nice and defined, but the rest is wishy washy.

    Messing around with texture mashups and somehow came out with this.

    Would look about a billion times better without the ears but it's the first thing I saw in the textures haha.

    Didn't want to start a new thread for it, but I was dicking around with leftover sculpy and made Cthulhu. I also wanted to ask how the white for the eyes looks, originally I was going to paint them red but I'm not too sure.
