Full metal Alchemist: Man I think Louis Armstrong's awesome sister is going to be killed off soon...judging from the preview.
One piece: I wonder how they are able to top each chapter every single time. I love this current chapter so much.
Bleach: I think the whole one vs one thingy should be toned down because they really slow down the whole chapter. Also I think that they have no love for Chad .
Naruto: I feel that the whole story is going too slowly. Too many new characters dilute the whole crew. Also grown-up Sasuke...well, he just seems to be so unmemorable for such an important character. Though I'm pretty sure the next book is going to revolve around him and his minions.
Yes some complaints but hey it doesn't mean that I hate them. Some other manga I like (Not sure if you guys got them in your country):
Harlem Beat: Basketball comic which I like more over Slam dunk (great too). Conan the detective Yaiba: Done by the guy who created Conan(above). It's pretty awesome. HunterxHunter: Man Togashi what happened man, please don't die until you finish this series... Gashbell Deathnote
What I love,then hate:
Shaman King, after they finished the test. A shark was jumped from that point onwards. Some gems in there though. Also I've heard that the anime was much better.
Magical Teacher Negima: Fanservice overload. Man there's so much that I would feel embarrassed reading it anywhere besides my home. The school festival were pretty well done though. Still I would like to read it without people having strange looks on me.
I don't read the manga, but I'll totally agree about the Detective Conan anime. I love the show, but I fell out of watching it around episode 80. I also like Great Detectives Marple and Poirot.
So it was my manga run today and a couple of good series came in for me. Of course, I always pick up any new series 1st volume to see how it is.
Queens: Vol 3 and 4. This Korean Manwha is about a feminine boy that likes and girl and goes to the Manwha-ka creator and wants to toughen up and be more boy like. The Manwha-ka is a girl who writes romance stories and lives with two other girls. Its apparent this is some sort of Harem Manwha, because they all fall for his cuteness and dress him up as a girl, fight for him and care for him. While it is different than Yubisaki Milk Tea, its a good sort of difference that makes it a good read.
Missile Happy Vol 1. This is a new series for me. I has chosen this series through the guide. Its about a girl who has a sister complex and does like anyone near her sister. When the sister decides to get engaged the girl goes and lives with him to see if he's good enough. I haven't read it yet, but the premise sounds good.
Eureka Seven: Gravity Boys and Lifting Girls: Vole 1. This manga is basically following the game of the same name. I haven't played the game yet, but the Eureka Seven universe has enough story I believe to make another sideline story. I don't know what the story is or is the art looks good or not, but by judging from the Eureka Seven manga, it should be excellent.
Hanami: International Love Story: Vol 2. This is also another Manwha, this time more romantic than Queens. Its about a Japanese-Korean girl who goes back to Korea with her grandfather. The grandfather married a Korean woman so when she dies he goes back to live in Korea where she lived. A Korean guy likes are so its like a romantic comedy about him trying to win her over and open himself to her. Its quite good, and I love the story.
Translucent : Vol 2. A Story about a world wide disease which people become invisible but still function properly. Its about a girl who has this disease and about the boy who likes her even with it. It also shows the affects of transparency and how people learn to cope with it. Its quite good, so I recommend it.
Rurouni Kenshin: Vol 5 . Everybody knows what Rurouni Kenshin is so there is no point in detailing the story. However I like the Samurai style and I liked his Buso Renkin story and art so this one is alright with me.
Berserk: vol 12 & 13. This story is a gripping and dark and totally sits apart from what I usually read. I quite like the art, the death scenes and the sword fights plus, I am always enamoured with one man agianst the world sort of setting. Thats the reason why I picked these volumes up.
So that's my manga run.
Edit: I also forgot to mention I picked up UDON's Camcom Artbook. Its pretty cool and I love the Sakura pictures with Rival Schools and Street Fighter series.

I caught a couple episodes back when it was on Adult Swim, and it seemed pretty cool. Also, is that second thing an anime, or are you just declaring an affection for Agatha Christie?
It's an actual anime and manga based on both Marple and Poirot. The main character is a young girl who is the niece of Ms. Marple and works for Poirot. It basically plays out like a self-insert fanfic, wherein the girl is an added character to the existing stories, which are slightly changed to add her into them. Besides having the best known Poirot and Marple stories, the art and design was pretty good for a TV anime (it probably helps that there's no frenetic action or anything like that to animate).

It depresses me that Douglas seems to be the only one recommending Blade of the Immortal.
Dark Horse puts it out here in the west, both in monthly issues and as collected trades. It's a little pricey, especially compared to other manga (it's priced more in line with western comics), but it's worth so much more than the price of admission, it's almost silly.
There are 18 volumes out now, with a few more on the way before the series finally finishes (it's close to its end now in Japan). The art and story is just amazing. Hands down one of my favorite series ever on either side of the ocean.
Berserk is moving pretty fast but i thought they would be past the Hawks arc by now.
They are, volume 19 was the last one out. They're in the Conviction arc right now (i.e. - the Church vs. the Heretics vs. the Apostles vs. Guts arc).
Also, I echo the sentiments regarding JoJo's. I saw the anime years ago, but never bothered tracking down the manga. Now that they're finally reprinting it Stateside, I can experience it in all its WTFLOL glory.

The action game for the PS2 wasn't as good but it was still pretty fun.
You really have to know part 5 to get good scores on it.
