Rufus Wainwright had a US flag as his backdrop but with black and grey stripes to represent all the evils in America and with brooches isntead of stars to represent all the good things about America "like brooches".
Why do a lot of gay guys have lisps, or a certain way of talking. I made a thread about that a while ago, but I was never given an answer. I want to figure this out.
Statistically probably just as many straight dudes have lisps, you just don't notice because you relate lisps to gay dudes so you only notice them.
Also, the "gay accent" is probably just a side effect of being gay. Like, differing hormone levels during development or something, I dunno. I have it and like I say I don't relate well to mainstream gay culture so I don't think it's like a "gay flag" thing to let other queers know where the gays are at.
you don't sound gay to me
you sound british which is almost, but not quite, the same

He sounds a Liverpudlian yob. A stigmatism far greater than a lisp.

man you know how when you see someone you don't know well, and they lisp a little, or they're a little flamboyant, or whatever, you know the stereotypes
well I never want to judge someone by stereotypes at first, and none of these people were total queens, but like the last 10 people that I've gone "hmm, I wonder if that person is gay, oh, probably not." (because I don't want to be like "yeah, there's a faggot and there's another one of them gays , I bet he loves balls", and on and on)
but out of those 10 people fully 9 of them have turned out to be actually gay. I guess stereotypes exist for a reason
