So back in my freshman year of high school I stole a road cone, one of those tall skinny ones with the reflector stripes. It's been a wonderful part of my household for a few years now, but at this point it really just doesn't fit with my decor.
Now, I would love to just huck it in the dumpster, but I know that stealing cones is some sort of federal offense, and so I have to wonder if this will cause me some disposal problems. Can I just stick it in the dumpster? Should I sneak it out to the side of the road some dark and mysterious night? Is it not a problem at all?
Chances are they won't care that you stole it. It is only a cone, just chuck it in the dumpster. If they ask just say some teenagers threw it into your yard or something.
or just put it on the street until someone else takes it. i mean its a cone, thats like returning it to its natural habitat
I had a similar incident in college. Lived in Dorm Building A. Dorm Building B was undergoing construction. On the way back from lunch, we swipe a big ass cone for our dorm room. Towards the end of the year, we needed to get rid of it. So we...put it in the corner of the parking lot. It stayed there for a month until someone else swiped it.
I'm sure if you just put it somewhere in a parking lot, it'll be fine. There are guys that work for the city or construction crews that drive around town picking up cones and stuff.
