Maybe I'm unusual, but this forum has had a pretty obvious affect on my life. Before I came here, I knew little of the internet, and hence the world. You filthy bottom dwellers opened my eyes to some pretty terrifying things, but at the same time, some pretty glorious things; books and TV shows and movies and games that I've loved that I wouldn't have played otherwise.

There are things that I've seen and read and done that I would never have seen or read or done if it weren't for SE++, and this is a thread for you to talk about those things.

If it weren't for SE++...

• I would've never played Guitar Hero, which is now my favourite game series.
• I would still be ignorant to Furries, Lensman, Kitchensink.jpg, Urethra Insertion, Guts by Chuck Palahniuk and a swathe of other brain scarring images or concepts
• I would've never looked at these fucking peppers

• I would get a lot more done at work and I wouldn't have gotten that warning from my boss.
• I would've never bought a Wacom Tablet
• In a round about way, I probably wouldn't have taken my last trip to America and I definitely wouldn't be going to PAX next year
• I would've ignored Venture Bros and Harvey Birdman
• I wouldn't feel a timeless, unspoken bond with bananas
