IGN put up a small preview of the conclusion of Amazing Spider-Man's 'New Ways To Die' story. Dropping them down in the spoiler-box along with probably one of the sweeter Marvel-Zombies alt-covers I've seen.
Okay i'm hazy on this, how the flying fuck is Norman Osborn still running a company? When does he find the time to be an effective business man in between running the thunderbolts and being totally crazy. Surely the board of directors should have tried to vote him out at least once by now, speaking of which how does his company find investors? Its not like its a secret that he's the Green Goblin, i mean how would you feel about investing money in Joseph Mengela's new business venture.....
Goddamn it, reading Graphic Violence turns me into an overly pedantic nerd, i hope you're happy with yourself forum.
from what i have seen, anti-venom looks cool
i don't know how he will look when someone else draws him though
the design strikes me as hard to pull off
I'm excited that it's finally coming out. It's the last of the Y1s that were announced two years ago, I think. I like Black Lightning a lot but don't really know much about him as a character, so this should be good for me. Plus I like Hamner's art a lot
So why does Spiderman's powers cutting out affect him swinging and falling to his death, considering he isn't using his Other web shit? Is it just his sense of..balance, I guess?
Yeah I mean at the very least, it's not like he can practice it as a normal guy. And even if he did, it's gotta be really disorienting to lose your powers mid-swing.
So, there's a new Hector Plasm comic shipping November 5th, and CBR has a big article up about it, with a bunch of preview pages.
For the uninitiated, Hector Plasm is a comic about a guy who's something of a supernatural troubleshooter. The character has appeared as back-ups in Invincible, a one-shot, and a few anthologies, such as Popgun. It's written by the very funny Benito Cereno, who wrote one of my favorite one-shots ever, Tales From the Bully Pulpit, with art by Nate Bellegarde, who's done the art for the Atom Eve mini-series, as well as some of the recent issues of Brit. Mark your calendars!

I know no one else cares, but apparently they canceled Spider-Girl. It was pretty silly but dammit, I liked that series.
Damn, that kind of sucks. I didn't like it myself, but it was a long-running series with devoted fans. Sucks to be them right now.
It was the universe I liked most, I think. I liked seeing a future where Pete and MJ were married with two kids. It was sweet. Hell, even Kaine was a good guy. Sort of.
When the American Dream mini came out I was hoping we'd see more M2 stories. Guess it didn't sell well or something.
Maybe its going to played for laughs with Frank going through ever more complex and rube-goldbergian extremes in an effort to take down a guy who's vastly out of his league and doesn't even notice he's being attacked.

Also JRjr was pretty much the only good thing about 90s Spider-Man.

Stop asking so many questions!
also it takes considerable upper body strength to do that
I have been very questioning lately.
I guess that makes sense. He'd have to be pretty strong to heft his body weight around and get to where he's going without going splat.

one time he tried swinging on web when he temporarily lost his powers and he almost ripped his arms out of his sockets

Not quite sure how to react to this yet.
Seems dumb, but probably not what it seems.
