Is there any more speculation on the cancellations that will coincide with Dark Reign? Like, I'm really, really surprised New Warriors is going to continue past Secret Invasion.
This sounds so effing awesome. Too bad it's a digital exclusive since I'm still reluctant to sign on.
American Eagle: Just a Little Old-Fashioned Justice
Leaping out of the pages of Thunderbolts, Jason Strongbow aka American Eagle, tribal leader and former super hero, keeps the peace throughout Navajo lands. So when a super villain on the run crosses onto the rez, pursued by one of Tony Stark's Initiative teams, Strongbow must give them all a hard lesson in down-home justice in a story from red hot scribe Jason Aaron and superstar artist Richard Isanove!
For lack of a better thread to put it in (We should have a Thor thread! About Thor! With Thor in it!) here's an interview with JMS on Thor. He kind of talked about the reason Loki is a female. It being,
He's using Sif's body, which is why he's holding her captive, or something along those lines.

Oh. Uh. Okay.
There is a tradition of Loki turning into a woman in the original mythology, so I'm not sure it really needed an explanation like that, but whatever.

seriously, the kind of makes it less awesome
No it makes it more awesome.
Slepneir. Odin's 9 legged horse?
Loki transformed into a mare to fool the giants by luring away their pack horse. The lure worked too well.
He came back with a baby foal.
No, I mean the fact that Loki isn't a woman just cause, but that there's an explanation behind it. The explanation makes it less awesome. I know about Sleipnir and etc.
Here's an interview with the writer of the Young X-Men.
He seems pretty genuine. The shitty writing that happened kind of makes sense from the way he tells it, I didn't realize the book launching in the middle of the Manifest Destiny transition put them in limbo like that.

Man that was one of the most honest I've ever seen someone in one of these interviews. Both about what he was unhappy about with the book and when asked how long he plans to stay on the book.

We do have a Thor thread, somewhere
To be honest, you weren't missing much
Really overrated in my opinion. Certainly not bad by any means, but I don't really understand why everyone was shittin' their pants about it.
Ultimate Spider-Man Annual #3
Marvel 1985
And Nova... Heh.
