Does Samson have some sort of weird radiation reading powers or is he just an awesome guesser?
"I can tell by these two unmoving footprints that first he punched him in the head, then blocked a punch, then punched him in the stomach, then he scratched himself, then he looked up, then he thought about what he'd like for lunch..."
You find out what he's getting at on the next page.
"Then the assailant grabbed the victim's chest. He squeezed it. His hands were firm, but gentle. The victim complimented the assailant on his new haircut. Both later went to Hacienda, where the assailant had a coupon for half-priced margaritas."
I mean, keeping in mind what's happened, she's not really one to drop in cheap shots whenever she gets.
I think after the first "Why don't I be the attacker" she'd have quit.
I didn't want it to be Bucky. I don't want it to be him.
It just doesn't seem right to me.
I was going to e-mail Brubaker thanking him for alerting me to Charlie Huston. I'd mention this, too, but it's based on nothing more than a feeling that "it shouldn't be."
And I didn't like that it was coming, even though it was almost certain. I was taken in by the story itself that I didn't really think too much about speculation of what could happen. Plus, I just don't like it. I love Bucky. I love what's been happening in the book.
If I had a rational argument, I'd make it.

I just read Lex Luthor: Man of Steel and it's fucking great.
I share Keith's reaction to their assessment of Harley.
what was it
keith taking a hiatus because he is too cool or something
“Visually, I threw her in a vinyl outfit and made her look as much like a junkie as possible. Harley Quinn is like a stripper to me. I don’t want to know her name, I don’t want to hear about her life, and I sure as hell don’t want her to talk. Just dance, baby…â€
And then Keith says something like, "Eww....," only perhaps he used more words than that.
A texted preview of Marvel's OTHER Golden-Age mini-series for 2008, The Twelve, popped up at Wizard's site. To check it out, hit the spoiler-box and see if you'll be adding it to your pull-list this week.
Ah, I actually read those last 3 pages months ago when the Twelve was solicited in Marvel Previews, in addition to the following page. This actually looks pretty cool.
Yeah that first issue looks good. But it is a story about them coming out of stasis and into the modern world, and will examine the good and bad of a 1940s mentality. That doesn't sound very promising to me. And I have heard that JMS is not exactly subtle with social commentary. What I want is a bunch of forgotten people shooting the shit out of Hydra or Nazis or Stalinists or something, but I doubt that is what we will get. I am going to wait and see.
Well with twelve issues, we'll most likely get a good view into each hero. I saw an uncolored preview page from the series which promises that Fiery Mask's origin will be shown in his issue. You can't go wrong with fire-control and a zombification ray.
