Ok i'm gonna give this thread a run. There is no way I am making a thread about novelty artistry in AC. I like to make wallpapers for fun. It's relaxing. I don't draw. I can't. You might be able to? Not a real artist? That's ok!

Ok so goooooo (my "art" is only wallpapers so)
Grasslands
I combined a pretty picture, and the bottom part of some flcl wallpaper, cut out naota, recolored grass, planted some grass where his feet were and cleaned it up, threw a light effect on the grass and changed some grass saturation. Free selected top and feather edges with 40 radius. All GIMP.
This is one i've been working on forever cause it's old sprite graphics and i am trying to add flavor to it USING GIMP ;(
but here is a rough image it's just got a nice background and i cleared the clouds out

I realize like that grass light penetrates too deeply but at my current screen settings I can barely see the light if done "right" so i made it go deeper into/over the grass on the edge and on me screen im happy
