[WoW] The General Forums make me cry uncontrollably...

Does anyone else feel that way? I have been playing since Open Beta, and I just dont have the time put in for mad lewtz or whatever, but I still have a good time questing with buddies and raiding when I can. But if I go to the General Forums, it makes me want to quit the game and throw my computer across the room, because people can't understand its a game, and meant to entertain. I go there looking for any type of constructive info about patches or bugs, and all I get is people whining, and other insulting people who have valid questions.

Sigh.

Ok I am better now, but does anyone else feel that way if they go to the actual WoW forums?

The European forums aint quite as bad. They're pretty bad, but not quite as bad as the American forums.

Unless you are able to speak retard, stay the hell away from those boards. Also, did this really deserve its own thread? This could have easily gone into the "Hope, hate, and happiness" topic.

Yeah it probably could have gone into the happiness / hate thread, but I am noobish here, so I wanted to make sure I wasn't completely crazy before I jumped into a well established thread I'm glad I am not alone in my loathing of the general forum.

The general forums barely deserve the name 'forum.'

A couple of the boards actually aren't that bad (some class forums, guild discussion), but most of it is horrible.

I don't have much experience with a large number of forums, but yeah, they seem to be at the bottom of the pool. And as bad as the complainers are, I groan just about as much at the guys who're trying to be overly serious about things, like "A treatise on why such and such class or ability needs to be changed to such and such."

It makes me stick to my stomach when thread titles like:

"WTFBLIZZ!!!11 BCKSTABZ BRKEN!!!!!!!" Get 50 pages worth of discussion, and others like this:

"What is going on with Backstab?" Get completely ignored and passed over.

I tried making 2 or 3 threads once upon a time in the various forums, never again.

And god help those in PVP discussion...
