I have a collection of .mpeg or .wmv files on my computer, and It's a pain in the ass to have to sit at my computer to watch them all. How do I put these files onto a DVD so I can watch them on my tv?

Will the quality be really bad and stretched? I have nerosmart if that helps...

I can't get the exact specifics of the video files right now, but i can soon if that will help. Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Also, how would I go about making a menu for user friendly access to each episode etc.?

The full version of Nero will handle the encoding for you as well as making them the correct aspect ratio and create menus. The deciding factor as to how it will look on TV is the current resolution of the videos. If they are low, like 320x240, or something like that, they will be pretty pixelated but watchable I am sure.

If you don't have the full version of Nero it's worth buying. There really isn't a better CD/DVD writing program out there. There is a full Demo you can use for 30 days or so to try this stuff out.

I use a program called TMPEG Enc that does exactly what you're talking about, menus and all (Well, it converts everything to dvd files which you can then burn with Nero).

It's not free, but I think there's a trial version floating around somewhere.
