Argh, my steam login ticket expired yesterday and I discovered that I don't know my password and my security answer for password reset isn't working.
After sending an email to steam support asking to have my password reset and offering proof of my ownership now I discover my account is outright disabled and I haven't gotten an email back.
:x
hrmmm yea good luck with that. the steam response for ANYTHING is horrible! faq's, troubleshooting, anything man you won't hear anything guarentee.
I was so enamored with this community's fixation on the bonesaw that I started regularly using it rather than the syringe gun. Then, after getting killed over and over again, I switched back to the syringe gun with far more success.
But, before that, I sawed a Heavy to death. So the experience was not without positives.
I chased an enemy medic in dustbowl into B building and as he coward behind a sentry dispenser and engy combo I bonesawed him before I was torn up. It was weird it stopped shooting me when i stood next to it. I bet he wasn't expecting dying in the least.
The syringe gun is actually weaker, for while it has slightly better damage the range is complete shit. Shit
What is this "syringe gun" you speak of?
There is only one weapon for the medic.
QFT, I very rarely use the syringe gun.
Plus bonesaw is the most effective way to kill a spy going after your heavy. You know you did a good job when the heavy doesn't even realize he was about to get stabbed in the back.

I noticed that sometimes it takes me too long to kill people with the bonesaw... So I'll empty some syringes into their back and then hit Q real quick and switch... And bonesaw the fuck out of them.
Shooting the syringe gun is like shooting a paintball gun. If you've ever shot one of those then it translates well into the game... you have to arc your shots in.

anyone know of a list of point values? I curious what you get for doing various things
2 points for caps, defenses, backstabs and sniper head shots.
1 point for kills and destructions, 1 point for invulning and 1 for every two assists.
i believe you only get one point for destroying sappers as an engineer.
healing gives a point for every x amount of health healed. where x is a number i have no idea what it is.

I use the syringe gun against scouts, pyros and cover fire on doorways. Because it has an arc and a decent travel time, I spin and fire bursts of it through a doorway I know people are coming through. Nobody likes damage so unless they have a medic or are a soldier/heavy they tend to hesitate until it stops, by which time I've usually got away.
For pyros I like to empty the clip into them then if I can't get away bonesaw them. If they're too close, as in I'm already on fire, I'll try to strafe or jump past the angle they are trying to turn and hope desperatly I get a bonesaw crit.
I love the bonesaw though, there's nothing like ducking around a corner while someone on your team is screaming "No medic! there's a pyro wait there's a pyro don't go don't go!", bonesawing someone in the face, then running back around the corner while the same team member is going "Oh, good work there."
What he didn't know is I'd done that to the same pyro on a previous corner and predicted he was going to be waiting there again with little health.
I also did it to my nemesis on the second last cp on well, only this time it was a crit and he was full health.
There's a scout called Colby or Cosby or something. He's got my dodging number. He mixes up his timing, pausing to aim properly, so I can't dodge. I started having to go into special Colby mode when I saw him, and dodging him specifically. I love that shit. More of you get better at hitting my dodging, I demand the challenge!
Except Bama, I demand you get worse at it.

I just saw the medic's bonesaw taunt for the first time while screwing around in an empty server. If I ever get bonesaw'd again and don't see you doing that I will lose all respect for you and punch you

I'm not sitting helpless for two seconds in the middle of a huge firefight for no amount of respect. Trust me if it's just you and me I will be doing it.

The range is fine when you take into consideration there is an arc. Its not hard to get used to with some practice.
To quote an enemy after I rushed in to defend/save B on gravel pit, "Not THAT medic!"
There's a pretty good chance that was me. I have this way of calling for a medic only to get either bonesawed or syringe-gunned to death by an enemy medic, and I say it just about every time.
I also have this way of calling out "doctor" and instead getting hit by "sniper." Come on, guys, I know they sound kinda the same but I needed healed, not a bullet through my skull.

Mo' screenshots time!
Maybe this is you RC? I don't remember. Anyway, all laugh at the sniper.
I IS GOOD SWIMMAR!
THIS IS NOT WATER!
These guys are chillin, hangin loose. Shootin the breeze. I like how the medic looks like he is ready to chat up any women that come along only there aren't any in this game.
Navoc doing a little jig under the warm evening sun.
Pandagoboom was so happy he killed me he immediately decided to flip the fuck out.
So cold, so streamlined. Proof that pyros are descended from dolphins that gave up water to embrace the true path of the flame. Even now, some part of them still remembers....
Onomatopoeia. I like this one because he killed me mid rocket jump but missed his target and I imagine the sound of the breath being exploded out of him during his landing being similar to "Houk!"
This is when I took out three or so people on the point with my bonesaw, but the last guy was being persistant and wouldn't lay down and die. So it didn't get my first kills. I also started immediately healing an injured team mate before thinking to take the picture.
The Nooo! from the other team and the timeleft is why I like this picture.
Irony!
This kill always makes me laugh.
I don't know why some of those pictures are wider than the others. I resized them all to the same resolution. I don't know very much about how the programs work as it's the first time I used one. Sorry if I broke anyones h-scroll.

I'm sure Flippy used some spy's blood to draw a red cross on it beforehand.

"Oh dear me. I'm Only in the top 97% of the server. How I do suck. I must /wrists because I suck so badly ;_;"
Yea i actually tried to suffocate myself while masterbating to my sentry killing people, but i had to use my other hand to build a dispenser and repair.
IT WAS A FUCKING JOKE THEMO WOW GJ
Edit: PS morninglord just because you play better doesn't mean you play more. I was joking man some of you dudes are uptight.

It is important to remember that everyone in PA is uptight.
This is a deliberate corruption of Bama's earlier "It is important to remember that the teams are always stacked."

Whatever i think alot of cats in here are pretty rad, especially Shankill/iowa/PotU/Flippy_D, but like i've said before all my trash talk is just all fun. It's like if you played your friend at Street Fighter and won, a simple smirk and maybe a little "CHEEA" added in. Not trying to think my shit smells better than everyone or anyone's, just adding a competitive chit-chat never hurt anyone. Plus it's usually humorous
Man, I sure hope they fix the grates on Dustbowl. Blergh. Either that or they should just go the whole hog and let both sides shoot the hell out of each other from the get go...
So the best time to be a spy is when defending the last point on granary. You've got a lot of heavy/meds coming in and people taking cover behind the barriers and standing still. It's clear that disguises don't really work these days, so I just use them to give me an extra second before someone realizes that i'm about to stab his buddy. I've taken to just uncloaking as I'm running by the medic, stabbing, then cloaking again before he can respond.
Also it is perplexing how much my team spy checks me. I either have a disguise on or have my knife out, yet some people still spend many seconds making sure I'm not an enemy spy.

I really don't like trying to be a spy in that situation, because I always feel I'd do far better for the team if I camped the point as a more direct combat class. And there's always the horrible horrible impotent feeling you get if you're deep into enemy territory and about to fuck shit up and they cap the last point. You wonder- would it have been different if they'd had an extra pyro, or another eight sticky bombs?
...probably not. But that's not the point!
Had an absolutely rotten run on Well as a spy, so I ended up leaving it to iowa and stuck to pyroing/soldiering/heavying/whatever the hell we needed-ing. It was eventually broken by Sudden Death because we wouldn't give up our last point.
Granary before that was a massive pain in the arse, because it was as if our respawn orders were out of whack so there was never backup for players when they needed it most. And on the one occasion we tried to rally our forces and move in as one, we got slaughtered in an ambush

Is there any benefit to the medic syringes sticking to the wall? no splash damage, etc?
