I got some stock options granted when the company I work for was doing a better on wallstreet. Right now the exercise price for these options is >> than the current price. Is there something that can be done about this?

You can still sell the options. You probably won't get much, but there might be someone out there willing to gamble that the price is going to go up substantially before the expiration date. Other than that, you can work really hard, and make your company's stock price go up. :P
The other comments are good, but there's one thing you haven't answered: from what you know from working there, do you anticipate the price going down some more, staying stable, or moving back up?
Also, if you have good reason to believe that the stock is going to go up very soon, PM me, I'd like to know where you work so I can, uh, invest. But don't tell anybody you told me.
