Help with origami Heart

I am trying to make a simple origami heart yet I am having difficulties. I used the following site before http://web.singnet.com.sg/~owrigami/hearts.htm yet now I cant seem to make it the the 3rd step. Mine never looks like that.

Could anyone perhaps explain to me why its comming out wrong ? Or suggest an easier site to use ?

Edit: I am trying to complete the first heart that appears on the page.

For each crease, crease it really hard on both sides and keep trying

Thanks but I cant seem to get those squares that he gets in step 3. I end up with just one whole square.

Indeed, that's exactly how you would create the two separate squares.
