I know this isn't what the thread is about, but it's been killing me.

There's this game I used to play at school... an edutainment game. You basically picked a fish and tried to survive in a coral reef. You usually got eaten pretty quick. It was 2d, controlled with the mouse. I remember playing as a clown fish or one of those blue and yellow ones. It was pretty tough not to die.

I remember playing this too- It was by a company called Odell- let me see if I can find more info.

Edit: 'The New Tetris' just looked at my 64 cartridge to make sure I was right. I wasn't.

Also if he is being really stict on the naming of the games the other one you have 'wrong' in row 4 is #10. Its 'Super Mario Kart' not 'Mario Kart'

Row six, the Crazy Taxi might actually be Crazy Taxi 2, I had that on my DC and I'm pretty sure the selection screen was 1:1 that. Haven't seen the Crazy Taxi home version screen though, so I might be off.

Indeed, one of my proudest moments came when I beat FFIV HardType for the first time. Ranks right up there with finishing Ghosts 'n' Goblins back on the NES (I broke my first controller while playing it).

I told you what you got wrong in row 6.
Its The New Tetris, not Tetris Worlds. Believe me, I have the game I love it and I played the ever living shit outta it. See those big 4x4 squares or gray and gold? I even remember ALL the diffrent way to make those squares.

Edit: the thing wrong in row 2 might be 'GoldenEye' = 'GoldenEye 007'

And yes if he is being picky, it should be Super Mario Kart as well.

That character select screen is definitely the first Crazy Taxi, so you've got that one right. Other than The New Tetris, I don't see what's wrong with that row at all. Punch your friend in the eye.

edit: Row 2 is definitely Super R-Type. The very first level, even.

edit2: Row 10 looks fine to me, except maybe Arcade's Revenge. I'm not sure that subtitle was on the box... I think it was just Spider-man and X-Men. I could be wrong.

The soliton radar is showing a weird layout in that Metal Gear Solid screen shot in row 2. Perhaps it's one of the bonus stages from MGS2: Substance? Seems like it could be that or from Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes, but it does look more like the tanker than Shadow Moses Island.

That shot in particular has some really bad artifacting killing the details

Yeah, I agree; the artifacting makes it tough to tell precisely which MGS it is.

The original mario kart was called Super Mario Kart.

Also, it's Final Fantasy VII, as opposed to 7.
