The old-school Magic: the Gathering game for PC was really awesome. Awesome because A. it actually had a fun single-player rpgish mode and B. theres no 'i no its on a computer but u haves to pay 4 pretend cardz lol.'
Ah, Magic: The Gathering, good times. I loved the TCG as a kid, but the hobby just became too expensive and eventually I had to give it up.
How's that PC game you mentioned? Did it come out after Urza's Saga, and which editions does it cover? If it's any good, I have to give it a try.

Its good but it runs like shit on today's computers.
I don't think it has any of the recent expansions (by recent I'm including Fallen Empires here. Yeah, it's that old) But it does have some computer specific cards that are kinda interesting. You start off with a pretty meager deck and like 10 health or so. Then you walk around the world doing some odd tasks for these villages and collecting gems and gold which you use to trade/buy cards and supplies or you establish a mana link with that village (which earns you an extra HP) Eventually you have to take down the 5 primary wizards (one centered around each color/element) and then the final uber boss with a 5 color deck and 100 health.
I don't really play card playing games at all, but, my friend gave me a DBZ card game for the GBA and I would recomend you toss that sucker into the trash, it totally turned me off of card playing games.
DBZ: TCG will do that. The Rule book is a fold out poster and the actual gameplay is a mess of complexities that make Magic look streamlined. If people actually enjoyed playing it I'd be pleasently suprised.

And here's a video of Etherlords 2 in action. Looks like a Synthet fog build, which I always liked.
