Buying a new rig. Advice appreciated.

My MAX budget is $1200
I don't feel like building my own rig this time around so I'm thinking about getting it from www.cyberpowerpc.com since they usually have great specials.

Since it's Thanksgiving they have better "weekly specials" than usual so I'm really tempted to order one today.
Here are their specials:

My main problem comes when choosing graphics cards.
Would a NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT 512MB 16X PCI Express be better than
2x NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT 512MB 16X PCI Express

The last computer I built was 3 1/2 years ago so I don't know much about the new cards or SLI.

Thanks for the help.

Don't go with SLI if you can avoid it. One 8800GT will be enough for just about anything out right now, its one of the better cards on the market at the moment.

Well my current rig can sorta play stuff that is out now, but what about within the next year or so. I don't want to have to upgrade 6 months from now.

one 8800GT is probably better (and certainly more efficient) than two 8600gt's. Not 100% on that, but really, don't go SLI, it's a waste of money generally.
