You might have heard of comics. They are just like Penny Arcade, only printed on paper with more pages and different characters.

Here's Jordyn's DCAU Livejournal. I don't really care about DCAU, but Jordyn is a a swell guy and you might enjoy his work.

Here's the SE++ Suggested Reading List, feel free to pm/post with suggestions. I haven't read any of them. Only Watchmen. It was good, I liked Rorschach and dude, what an ending.

    I read the Watchmen for the first time pretty recently. Only graphic novel/miniseries I've ever read.

    That was a bit of a mistake, wasn't it? Now, nothing will ever compare.

    Guys, I totally read this great story about a girl who morphs into an amphibious frog beast whose every skin pore is an acid dripping vagina with the ability to impregnate grown men. It's a comedy aimed at like five to ten year olds.

    JoF is a spin off of Fables. It focuses specifically on Jack, instead of doing the whole ensemble thing. It's quite good.
