    I wore a Gambit t-shirt in the 4th-5th grade that my grandparents bought me. My earliest memories of the X-Men have him in the team. One of my favorite comics was a Spider-Man/Gambit/Howard the Duck crossover. I have no idea what has happened to Gambit since then, I haven't run into him in any new comics since my fairly recent return to reading them.
