I'm not sure why, it's never happened like this before.

Is anyone else willing to test their connection with me? And battle in the process?

I'm testing it now with some random dude.

Edit: Random Dude fell for my trap, and will owe me a ground badge after this.
Maybe not, depends on how my luck is.
Terrible. Nothing was right on that one.

Sorry Sir Red. Try again. Tonight if you want.

May I ask if your PorygonZ know Tri-Attack? Normal is not ineffective against ground. Rock and Steel? Yes. But it's just neutral on ground. So you should stop using Psychic.

I'm worried that Sir Red is actually pissed off. Just as his last pokemon was about to faint we had a disconnect. The connection had been ok for most of the fight. Started slow, but kept up a good pace afterward. I'm just reading to much into it.

Do you want the ground team Rockin, or just a random mix?

Random mix, please. Hey, Red is battling me, and it doesn't seem like it's going to have any sort of problems now. We'll battle after I battle Red.

Psychic has too much of a swiss pocket knife effect. I can't get rid of it for Tri-Attack.

Oh. Well the extra STAB on Tri attack would have finished Swampert i'm sure. Whatever its other moves are, I would recommend dropping one for Tri attack. Or use Ice Beam if you have that. Its a little stronger at least.

You just hate my Lucario don't you? Trying to kick him off my team, insulting his looks, thats sad man. Well, he got a little vengeance in that match anyway.

Your right though, Hitmonchan would fit a lot better as Aang. But Lucario pulls it off pretty well. Especially the Multiple Element Bending. As you saw.

Man, if Venomoth wasn't Docile i'd have won that match. I wanna re breed it, but I don't have the heart. Love my Venomoth.

I've only really heard of ..eh.. three unevolved Pokemon types being seriously used on teams. Pikachu (light ball, I assume, plus a couple of Ash wannabees), Scyther/Scizor (which is understandable given how its stats and typing actually changes when it becomes Scizor), and Porygon2 (which I've only heard of as a BL/UU trick room user).

    Well, I lost.
    Ground Badge for Ferratto.

It was closer than you might think though, considering he had a Gyarados that DD'd twice! OHKO'd Hippowdon with Waterfall! God damn.

I'm aware that underestimating the foe will result in pain. And I apologize for saying it sucks, but against Chen I've been getting raped by his Gyarados, often by forgetting it can DD.

I can see what you did. Compound Eyes + Hypnosis = yeah.

But hey, I use some UUs here and there, ask Ink, I used one in our latest battle and it did well. (Please don't reveal exactly what it did)

Though I know a guy who uses UUs so much I keep wondering how the fuck I win against him so often, and how I would be raped for not knowing much about them if I didn't use so many BL and OU tanks against him (he plays doubles most of the time). The dude even won a tournament using UUs because his oponents didn't know what to expect. The only person I know who would use a Golem or a Gorebyss and rape his foes with them.

Actually, I haven't put much time or effort into it. That's why I haven't won again. Last time I was awfully terrible, letting it DD so much. I won't let it do that again. But I had a headache + the flu. I didn't win many battles that day either.

intimidate/burn is you're friend, as well as haze/roar.

you can alter some moves to help you against stuff like that, even alter pokemon, you can always just switch back to your team a certain amount of time after

edit: ^^^ on that note, ink, why don't you have a flame orb for fling? it'd be a lot better since no fire pokemons wouls mess with that, and something that would is likely be joined up with a poison type

I don't have a Flame Orb because if I don't immediately fling it, it'll burn the holder, and I don't want that burn. Same thing with Toxic Orb. and I don't want to immediately use Fling all the time.
I plan on keeping the held item in rotation for fling. I wish I could fling a kings rock for a surprise flinch, but I'd need to go first for that.

Your friend should make his own account if he wants to post here. Everyone is welcome, we could always use more people.

Edit- What would happen if I flung a Life Orb? Would the strength of the attack receive a boost from the Orb? and would I receive damage after it's been flung? I'll have to find out. Though, its a pretty weak attack with a Life Orb.

Also, I think I finally have some incentive to go and finish PBR. Get ahold of that Light Ball. Now thats a useful item to Fling. Watch out for that one, future challengers of the Ground Gym.
