PSP online multiplayer games?

So I recently found myself in possession of a PSP Slim and Daxter. However, I'm in the mood for some decent multi so I figured I'd make a thread about it in the hopes other people might keep track of this kind of thing.
1) Medal of Honor: Heroes... which one to get? 2 is obviously newer, and that generally means the player base migrates over to it, but I've seen reports that the multi is... less than desireable compared to the first one. Is it as bad as people say? And if so, is there still a decent community playing the first one (better game or not, it'd make no sense to get it if nobody plays)?
2) Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron actually looks pretty fun, and it seems reasonably suited to the system (since it was developed from the ground up for it rather than being a port), but how is it really? Star Wars games are ridiculously hit and miss, ranging from absolute gaming classics to licensed dreck, and I never trust reviews for multiplayer games because they can't really get into the community, which is a huge aspect.
3) Racing games... what's online and worth a damn? I'm aware of Xlink Kai, but I'd rather stick with games that officially support online for a bit before diving into that.
And... yeah. Any other comments or recommendations would be awesome as well.
