And my "finisher" is a dot :P

    That was quick.

Yeah rip isn't very good at first, but it gets better after you get pounce, but by then you have Ferocious Bite which is kinda like Eviscerate :D

You're Night Elf right? Well I didn't even finish off all the Teldrassil quests, I cheated and went to Elywnn :P

I levelled the Human path and I'm 800 rep off exalted with SW at level 45, I found it much easier than going through a zone I didn't know, although I did miss out on all the lore and quests and stuff.

But yeah Ashenvale/Darkshore sounds about right.

Re: My Warrior Vs Pally Question

You guys are the best as always. I'll stick with the pally I just rolled. I like to tank for my wife (she's *big* on mages, druids, and shammys), and I hadn't been all that satisfied with the warrior I was playing - so it was either a case of "I'm doing it wrong" or "maybe those pally people were onto something". Probably both

Infinite love for WoW though - the two of us have *never* had mutual hobbies (I'm an all-purpose video game nerd, she's into the online social stuff, writing, etc) - and then WoW came along. +2 Spousal Bonding indeed!

I really don't know if it's considered an accomplishment at all, but with my 30 Warrior and her 29 Hunter we managed to two-man Deadmines and Blackfathom Deeps together. We were really proud of ourselves.

Then of course our mutual OCD for our characters kicked in, and we both re-rolled every one of our characters (all 30 or below) on an RP server and made complimentary pairs. Much happiness! :D

    I'm thinking Ashenvale?

For the NElfs it was Teldrassil => Darkshore => Ashenvale

That gets you up to 35'ish. Not sure where you go next. Most people seem to be very anti-Darkshore/Ashenvale though, but that's a matter of personal preference.

Ew Ashenvale doesn't get you to 35 really.

When you get 30/31 you should head for Thousand Needles and the Shimmering Flats.

We absolutely loved the finale to the whole Bloodmyst chain of quests. It's very reminiscent of the ending to the original Star Wars. Major thumbs-up to the Dranei starting areas :^:

Levelling in 2.3 is a lot easier, but its hardly a free ride. Once the lazy majority learned that, they abandoned their plans of rolling alts.

On a side note: Ding 50! Crusader Strike is the shit.

Exactly. It is a whole heap easier and more enjoyable.

    But.

With the hype surrounding 2.3's EXP changes, the predictably lazy majority was expecting to log on, create a character, and ding to 60 in two days.

Once they realised that wasn't the case, they gave up.

I think I've gotten four or so levels on my paladin today, honestly can't remember where he was when I started but I think he was 46. It's not hard, it's way easier that it used to be and it's really enjoyable..

Honestly if people don't want to play an enjoyable fun game then they can screw themselves :P

We must have just been slacking - we were both 30'ish and had a good 7 quests or so left in Ashenvale before we re-rolled

I know it's a little late for it but did they ever make it beyond easy to level
Yesterday on my priest I started at level 33 at about 22.00 PST with random interupts and taking time to go on a Heroic Mech run with my rogue; I got her to nearly level 39 by 6.00.

So where do I go level next? I have a 20 affliction lock and a 19 feral druid. Both are mostly solo characters. I plan on doing the succy quest Saturday and still have quite a few quests open in Tranquillen that I need a team for. Where would you fine folks suggest I xp?

Funny thing: I was grouped with a lock for banish/bombing and a green ring of agility dropped and he needed it. I asked why and his response was this: "I need it for pvp, agility raises armor."

I was too flabbergasted to argue and just let him have the ring.

Reminds me when I was in the crypt in Duskwood on my lock with some random warrior and rogue. We kill some rare mob that drops a -5 stam +7 int cloak. The rogue rolls need. I thought about yelling at him for taking a item that was only negative for him, but I found it funnier to compliment him on his "awesome new cloak", and hope he wore it for a long time. He did have it on when I left the party at least :P

To be somewhat fair, agility did do that in Warcraft III.

Although how you could play from 1-70 and not realise that it in fact does NOT raise armour...that is mindboggling.

Every point of agility is 2 armor. So a ring giving +30 agility is 60 armor....which is .005% damage reduction.
