I always spend twice as much time designing a character than playing him. I try to go for a unified classic superhero style, which tends to limit options a little bit. But I think I have a design I'm happy with:
Sorry for the size. His name is The Phenomina (ah shit I just realized I misspelled that ). Some gobbly gook about a mystic who finds a portal to another dimension that gives him dark powers or something. I don't know.
Bugs in this game are hilarious. I quite enjoyed running around with no arms and attacking enemies. My weapons weren't visible, either, so I was beating people up with my stubs.

Okay so I totally got City of Heroes / Villains setup a few days ago. And I've kinda been going nuts with the character creation (which is really, really fun; especially since I'm also coming up with any sort of background info possible as I go along). First up, villains.
Tekindle is my first love in the game. Well okay, second, because she's built off my 'prototype' character that I used to learn the basic game functions. She's a Technology Mastermind (Robotics!). Big Papa is my most flimsy idea, I just wanted a reason to have a Thug Mastermind (Natural). Remedios Dulce is a Science Brute specializing in Dual Blades. She's Mexican. Totally.

Melody was my first hero attempt and I'm pleased (and holy crap I just realized how short she is). She's a Magic Blaster, with Sonic powers (and energy). Wolf's Blade (The) has a shitty name, but I needed that chest insignia on there. He's a Natural Scraper with a broadsword.
