Ten Great Freeware Games of 2007

Hi All,

I thought this might be fun for some people to check out. I've spent quite a bit of time this year on sites such as Indygamer.blogspot.com, playing the independent freeware releases of the year as they came out, as well as way too much time checking out entries on Adrian Werner's list (see http://forums.penny-arcade.com/showthread.php?t=37226 )

Since this did take up a good chunk of time, I figured I'd make something of it and have decided to compile a Top Ten of 2007 for my game community newsletter.

If you just want to check out the games, I've compiled the entries for easy digestion and play here:

Let me know what you think of the choices. I've tried to include review sites and discussion sites (such as the discussions in the above thread) to aid my selection process, but there is of course a (very) healthy personal bias in this selection. I also didn't include previously available commercial titles (such as C&C or Sands of Time, that were made free for publicity purposes).

Cheers!

If you want to pimp your site/article/whatever, you're welcome to put it in your sig. You aren't welcome to make threads about it.
