    I rarely play Sniper, and when I do I'm awful, so I don't get many headshots, but I could swear every headshot flashed with the "CRITICAL HIT" icon.

    So are there critical criticals? :lol:

    Headshots with the scoped sniper rifle are crits, no matter once. You can still crit with the sniper rifle, but it does nothing extra if you hit the head.

    I managed to fire axe Flippy and marty in the same round today. I'm sure it was mostly due to the weird lag spikes, but still it's comforting to know I'll never be able to do anything that awesome ever again.

    I batted Marty to death on dustbowl today, he was a soldier. It was good times.

    I also witnessed a successful defense of the final blue cap point in the final stage of hydro. And was part of the defense. Amazing stuff.

    Being telefragged is the most humiliating why I've ever been killed in the game so far, but I guess that is what I get for trying to sap Teleporters.

    Lotsa fun on dustbowl today. Blind and I were pretty much chain ubering people non-stop to keep that last spot defended. Then 2fort loads and I decide to try soldier instead of medic and get my ass handed to me.

    If your a spy and are sap battling an engi with a crowd around you, jam c-2 (i think) its the "THAT _______ IS A SPY" command. It works flawlessly on pubs, and sometimes on PA.

    I got an engineer to chase a pyro on his team around the map with a wrench, while I sapped his stuff. That was so ace.

    I figured out how to play Demo. Sticky doorways, so the enemy cant see. Don't run in, shooting stickys. Just toss a couple nades, then run back sticky a door, and kablam!

    I got 2 medics and a heavy on PA server yesterday with that, when they capped A and were going to go through C to B. I just saw I was outgunned, so i ran back stickied the entrance to C from A and


    taunted.

    God it felt good to be a gangsta.

    What I don't get is a lot of old preview videos (like this http://youtube.com/watch?v=6N_hagoLgUA which is cut from preview videos) show a cool cartoony muzzle flash for the heavy

    Why was that taken out? It looks so good

If RED has it, they can sticky your left spawn door (closer to the point), as well as practically drop down directly onto the point, and possibly behind a lot of your defense. You cannot defend the last BLU point without a demo, pyro, or heavy locking the vent down from below (preferably demo).

    Usually though, if you have a team that can organize that, you usually don't get pushed back to your base to begin with.

    Nah, someone just has to take charge of it themselves and let everyone know they are. Either that or not die at all.

    Could we have a mappack for all current custom maps being used on the server? I'd like to install everything at one go instead of waiting intermittently for a map to finish being downloaded, especially for the larger maps. Or at least a list of custom maps being used would be nice so that I could find them myself.

    It can also kill or maim most anything with even a body shot, but we good snipers *cough* never do such things...

    Trust me, happens all too often. I've actually been killed twice in the same round by a teleporter, both with being cloaked too walking over them.

    Annnd no you don't even need to worry about the vent. Maybe sticky it with one demo, but honostly there's about 3-4 solid spots where sentries can stay up and still hard to kill as long as their lvl 3. when you're going down the sloped ramp, right at the bottom look to your left. there will be a spot lodged between the staircase and the wall where you can hide a sentry and yourself and it literally owns people (highest i got was 11 kills on it)

    We had 1 there and mine is slightly visible in the screen shot. This allowed a good crossfire on the right entrance, making even uber pushes really hard, since people kept getting pushed into a wall.

    that spot to the right in the screen shot, where i was talking about at the end of the ramp, is PERFECT.
    what you do is position the dispenser on the top stair, and sentry below you on the ground and you're right in the middle of both.

    anyone remember which one of you is from North Reading, Massachusetts? I was talkin the other day to one of you bout it.
