Playing old Mac games on a PC...

I collect games, therefore I collect PC games. Sometimes, that means that I buy stuff I can't play. I've got some old sealed Mac games that, lacking a Mac, I can't play (they cost me $0.40 to $1.95). I need Mac alternatives because they wouldn't run on an OSX machine anyway. Almost all have PC versions.

If I could get the content from the disc and run the PC executable (possibly obtained from a downloadable patch), I may be able to run them. Of course, Windows can't mount the discs so I haven't explored which might have PC executables yet. Most are pre-OSX (8/9).

What about Mac emulation? I'd be totally willing to buy an old OS 9 disc to play these on a virtual machine. I have a an old copy of Virtual PC Mac edition, but I need to do just the opposite.

Some of the titles I have here are:
WipEout 2097 (must be imported... called "Wip3out" or "WipEout 3" here).
Heretic II
Hexen II
Tomb Raider The Last Revelation
Tomb Raider Chronicles

I'm most interested in WipEout, as that seems somewhat uncommon on the PC and I loved WipEout PurE.

The problem with computer emulation is that in the majority of programs you wouldn't have access to your video card, so everything would be rendered in software, which would put a large strain on your computer, to the effect that they might be entirely unplayable. Also, its a pretty decent bet that most of those games would run in Classic on a Macintosh running OSX, should you have one around. This is a list of some emulators, should you go that route... but I can't really verify anything about them, so try them at your own risk.
