I've been looking for some places to get critiques/opinions/what have you so I'm trying you guys out. Feel free to run me out on a rail if need be.
I've done a calendar for friends and family every year (except '07) since 2003. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out this time but I really need comments from people who don't already like me, ya know? It features Cosmonaut (red spacesuit guy), Eggman (big blue Easter egg guy), and King Fred (little Kirby/Cactuar-looking guy).

-There's no story, it's just a bunch of stuff. Technically these three are 'imaginary' characters that exist in a larger universe I hope to bring to life one day.
-I don't know what May is either. Communion with nature? If nothing else it makes a nice juxtaposition with June.
My only criticism involves the color being so pastel that some of the busier images seem to lack a focal point. This is very aparent in April. All the browns around the center of the image just blur together on first glace and it's a bit tricky to decipher what's going on without looking closely. Some of the other images have similar lacks of contrast.
I'm not sure how I could improve on coloring, it's amazing they end up a nicely as they do. I supposed I could get a real colorist some day but it wouldn't feel like 'my' work anymore.
I think all you need to do is just try to vary the level of white in each color. Right now they're all equally pastel, try adding a few darker and lighter colors.

What's the story of this guy? I'm picturing something like Bone
Dear satan I wish for this or maybe some of this....oh and I'm a medium or a large.
What is May supposed to be about though?

Other than that, I'm a big fan.
