H'okay, so, my fiance and I are in our mid-20's and are quote eager to get all matrimonies. Both of us finished High School, but didnt do the college thing. But, with the jobs we have now we have decided to go to the local university, of Colorado, to get a degree or two to help job advancement. Unfortunetly due to our schedules, we haven't been able to go to a counselor for this.
Thats the back story, here's the question: What would allow us to have the better "deal" for finacial aid, loans mainly: Single or if we were Married?
"Over the centuries, mankind has tried many ways of combating the forces of evil...prayer, fasting, good works and so on. Up until Doom, no one seemed to have thought about the double-barrel shotgun. Eat leaden death, demon..."
Almost certainly if you were married. I know a couple people who have gotten married just to get the financial aid. You'll probably want to check with the specific school in question to find out, though.
Depends on your credit, too. That's one reason that I'm not marrying the missus for now, my credit is awful and hers is sterling. Marrying would destroy her credit.
