This game is THE SHIT. I used to play CoD2 on the PC, but picked this up for the 360, and it is an authentic translation of the online mayhem that you could get upto in 2. It's a bit of a shame the online gaming is handled via matchmaking, and not via servers, as you don't really get much chance to play with the same group of people a lot. Still it is very very addictive. best k:d ratio so far has been about 19:6, but that only happened after about 16 hours of play.

any PA'rs up for adding me feel free

edit: yeah not quite enough classes to make setting one up per map feasible, nor is there enough time to tweak it in between levels, for specific loadouts, but still very brilliant

I went left. Tis a good way to go if you ask me.

Edit: Also don't shoot people, and you don't really need airstrikes either. Just flash and run and flash and run. Only shoot if you can't flash, run, or knife.

    1) Right through the small barn
    2) call an airstrike on those assholes in the field, use the trench for cover and move forward.
    3) Airstrike right in front of your face.
    4) Run into smoke
    .
    .
    .
    6) Profit.

Alrigtht, the smoke is the tricky part but if you can get through that most of the rest isn't too bad.

I finally got high enough level to unlock hardcore mode. Makes the game a lot more fun in my opinion, I still feel that there's too much HUD though.

If they'd drop the kill messages and the little white X that pops up around your reticle to tell you that you hit someone it would be perfect.

But make sure you run in exactly the right spot. An inch to the left? Die. An inch to the right? Die. Take cover behind that wall over there for a brief second to figure out where to run to next? Five hundred million grenades will be jammed up your ass simultaneously.

Seriously....this game, on Veteran, is the reason why quick saving was invented and WHY OH GOD IS THERE NO QUICKSAVE IN THIS GAME. Yet I'm still trying to beat this thing on veteran. I think I'm a masochist.

You guys are just spoiling me horribly. The freedom I feel to just rush out and dominate people is just addictive when I don't have to worry about anyplace with a green arrow on it. If I see a green arrow, I know ain't nothin gonna catch me off-guard from that direction. Going back and playing with random cockgobblers who are useless teammates is horrifying.

Also, since Panny said that, I'll ask, so, are you a chick panny? Are we rolling over noobs with una chica? Or just a voice that sounds like a girl/little kid?

Yea it would be pretty impossible for me to go 52-18 in a random team game. It's fun to own.

You know, I really don't mind playing with pubs much. I've done it so often for so many years, I'm kind of used to it. What really shocks me every time is the huge drop in performance in random teams when playing with PA people for a couple hours and then later playing with randoms. Not only do I do worse, but so does every random. Very, very rarely do I get on a team while pubbing and find the team able to completely dominate a game. The few times I do, I'm usually put on a team made up entirely of clan members except for me.
Also, since Panny said that, I'll ask, so, are you a chick panny? Are we rolling over noobs with una chica? Or just a voice that sounds like a girl/little kid?

And I might be. I try not to make a big deal out of it, but every time I talk, it seems someone asks who the kid is, so I might as well. I'm 24 so I think I'm excluded from the "little kid" camp. Maybe. I don't know.

Couple of things I noticed last night. We had some good games over all, but...

1> Don't be scared to change strategies. We were getting completely fucking owned on Wetworks one game last night. Real bad. I finally got everyone convinced to stop pressing forward and let them come to us. Amazing come back. Something like 300 points in a minute or two, and we eventually won it.

2> Don't be scared to change guns. I see alot of people stick to sniping on levels sometimes even when it's obvious that Sniping isn't working.

1 - We actually lost that game 720-710 at the very last moment. That being said the shift in strategy was amazing. Not only did we let them come to us we started working together as a team and watching each other's flanks and such which really helped.

i beat heat on veteran today

it was really really hard, but i went right. it basically went like this

-come out of javelin barn, try not to get shot as you put down an airstrike in the middle of the field
-shoot the guy coming into the other barn, go out the back entrance and lay down another airstrike in the middle of that field to catch the troops attempting to flank you
-right after setting that strike put another strike in the middle of the smoke on top of the ditch
-run like mad to the house, get inside (this took luck as you may or may not be targetted by the bitches to your left)
-pray to god for a checkpoint
-put down another strike on the hill in front of you
-go out the front door STRAIGHT DOWN THE MIDDLE OF THE HILL
-hide in the gas station for the CHOPPA
    -???
    -Profit!

Depending on what people are talking about on the 360. It's either talking, a lot], and not saying one word about the game that is currently going on, or a whole lot of people wearing headsets, not because their comfortable, but because they don't want to talk. It's hard to understand some 'Live' players.

Playing with PA guys is like finding a vidja game soul mate when it comes to CoD4. You talk and joke and win. Tis perfect.
