Hate: Fucktarded DPS hitting the damn mob before I do & not understand the difference between positioning, as in "I'm moving it way over here so we don't aggro the pat & pull half the floor onto us" & actually hitting it. I'll say it on Vent or in chat, & they'll still open fire as soon as FF.
I spent two hours in heroic Mech & Bot, & both runs would have been much shorter if a huntard in our group hadn't done the above, or tab-targeted & sent his pet on all the demons in front of Cloven-Hoofed Boss, or multi-shotted the mobs next to Sarannis in Bot.
Happy: 11 badges in two hours. Yippie~ I'm closer to uh... well finishing my feral gear before I move onto the healing gear? Aieee, that list is too long as well. O.o
Yeah I wonder what the hell they could have done to make guards suddenly ride the elevators or path strangely. Exis was just showing me some bugged guards in UC last night, and I had a problem last week with an NPC in Freewind Post who kept showing up on my map as near the elevator, but then he'd appear at the bottom for a second and flicker away.
might just be glitchy (poorly designed) architecture. Theres a spot in Shadowmoon where you can walk around about 6 feet above the ground, on nothing, except an invisible bridge perhaps.
Nah, it's a recent change. I don't recall seeing anything like this in Beta or pre-2.3, but either that patch (or perhaps a hotfix or other server side only patch?) or something else has buggered mobs/npcs near elevators something fierce.

First they came for the Muslims, and we said NOT TODAY, MOTHERFUCKER!
One of the guards on the zep from Org to GG, I think it was, wouldn't travel with the ship. He'd just be sitting there, floating in the air, until the zep slid in underneath him, and then when it left, he'd stay behind, sitting just off the loading dock. Shoulda got a screenshot, damn. This was a few weeks ago.
Um, if that's not the policy, I can assure you it's not an isolated incident either. I didn't get credit for any of the kills in Shattered Hands (for the instance daily) after we had to do a player swap when I tried it Sunday.

I did a heroic ramparts yesterday, as part of the daily heroic quest. Halfway through, one of the rogues (we had two, lol) says he has to go to the store, and logs off. Huh. So we replace him with another rogue. Complete the instance.
Nazan drops the "Riding Crop" for those of us on the quest. I don't think the replacement rogue had the quest, so I don't know if he would have been able to pick it up... but the rest of us were able to do so.

RE: The T4 helm for mages and the meta gem.
It is USUALLY worth it to swap around your gems and make the best meta-gem work. Depending on how many epic gems you've socketed.
Also, I have a question about Spellstrike. My tailoring is 340, and I don't have either of the patterns, so I'll be getting a guildy to make me both pieces. My question is this: I know that non-tailors don't get the set-bonus from Spellstrike. If I get my Spellstrike made, and level my Tailoring after the fact, will the set bonus suddenly just work?

Yes, it will suddenly just work. You might have to unequip it then reequip it but it will work.

The general consensus among my guild seems to be for me to get my Spellstrike first, over Spellfire, because the time it would take to get Spellstrike is lower because I won't need to level my tailoring first.
I hate the last levels between 54 and 60 or even 58 if I want to hit outland quicker, but without that epic mount
Also the lack of druid/rogue gear between 54-70 on the AH is bullshit.
I would think that the time you save by having an epic mount first thing in Outland would be far outweighed by the time you lose by levelling two more levels in Azeroth...

There is a real lack of mail hunter gear in the AH so I am still wearing 3 peices of leather at level 52
I am stuck once more on my hunter and rogue since I would like to run ZF then St on my hunter for the quests {there is a quest to kill that giant spider in the hinderlands that would give me a mail chest to last me till outland} and for my rogue the SM run then the above.
I hate the lack of horde on Windrunner in general it makes going to instances a pain
FUCKING ECSTATIC: Archimonde down! Huge relief since for me and riz tonight was our last raid before the Christmas break. So if we hadn't gotten him tonight it would've either happened without us on Friday, or we would've been relearning it after everyone came back being all rusty. Just all came together at once, like we expected. No mistakes, just incredibly smooth kill.
And riz finally got a robe upgrade after forever of wearing Frozen Shadoweave, but I guess that's for her to tell >.>
LOVE: Second week, attempt #14 on Magtheridon-- last attempt for the night, after having rotated in three new people and not even bothering to explain the fight as we figured we were doomed-- Magtheridon down! Previous best attempt was 58%. Then, dead.
Also, I was #1 DPS as Mutilate. Fuck the haters! Hemo Rogue (211 hit) was #3, 41/0/20 Mutilate Rogue (78 hit) was #14. Encounter time was 11minutes 4seconds, I can't run a meter on my own PC due to lag so I don't have the hard data but someone will presumably host the WWS soon enough so I can gloat more.
Hate: Blizzard half-assing their low level instance changes. Seriously, RFK now has level 24-27 mobs, but the main quests for them have not had their level requirements changed, so you can't even do all the quests there till you're level 30, after all the mobs have gone green to you and you have other instances to run.
From what has been said in this thread, Oboro's build isn't optimal for Raiding, and she topped the damage charts. Telling me that she is far and above the other DPSers for competence.
I get the feeling that she is one of the few people in that raid who breath through their noses.
Woot. Gots me a Design: Royal Nightseye. We already have it in the guild, so I reckon I can get at least 400g for it.
...and it sold very fast for 500g. I knew I should probably have asked at least 600g starting bid... but I always go "Will people really pay this for rare stuff?"

I always think of a realistic estimate, and double it. Then I post it for that for 24 hours and see if there are any takers.
Also my server is stupid. I posted four Bolt of Imbued Netherweave PATTERNS for 250g apiece, and they all sold.
Apparently two peope in my guild are the only people on the server with Major Mageblood, and I am one of the very, very few people (probably all in my guild too) with Super Restoration and Destruction Potions.
Thank you for contacting the World of Warcraft Game Master Department.
Petition: Pathaleon the Calculator in heroic-mode Mechanar did not drop the "Pathaleon's Projector" item for the daily heroic quest.
Answer: If the group's make up changes at any point after everybody enters the instance, the quest item for the daily will not drop. This is deliberately designed to do so to prevent possible exploitation involving the daily quests.
Should you require further assistance, please submit another help request the next time you are online. We hope you continue to enjoy your experience in World of Warcraft!
The answer translates as: "Oh, you lost a miscellaneous DPS class halfway through and had to replace him or not finish the instance? Haha, you're fucked bitch!"
It doesn't even make sense. There is no possible exploit! You have to be in the group that killed the quest mob to loot the quest item, so no one but the current group could possibly loot the Projector. And it's not like he respawns so that people could just keep coming in to a cleared instance to kill him for the Projector. What the hell are they smoking?
That is the most retarded thing I heard this week.
Edit: I hate ToTP.
Something I don't like however is Meta Gems. Recently I got my T4 helm for my mage and I immediately went looking for a meta gem. The only one that would work without breaking any of my sockets was the Terrokar PvP one. Which isn't all THAT bad, but there was certainly better.
Erm, I brought my Druid into the end of a heroic Crypts run and got the quest item just fine.
On second thought, that's probably exactly what they were trying to avoid. Oh noes, my Druid got 3 badges for killing 1 heroic boss. The Humanity.

My wife has been making all kinds of money by purchasing the First Aid books and selling them in the AH for 2 or more times the price she pays. She will empty the bags of one of her characters ride them to Stromgarde or Telhamat and then fill the bags with books and over the next couple of weeks sell all of her inventory.
Some people are just so lazy and/or ignorant that she is able to make a lot of money from doing that.

I never buy the first aid books from the vendors. My characters are usually way too under-level for the places they are sold when it's time to get one, and like hell I'm dragging my main out there to save 50 silver.
I always doubted the quest for gold method could work aswell as people claimed. When i hit 70 on my warlock i quit the game for a while shortly after.
Now i just dinged my hunter to 70 and had my first questing session in BEM last night, managing to wrangle together a group for the Org'ila prequests too, im about 400g richer now, without selling any greens and not seeing a blue drop.

NEW DRESS FINALLY OMG. Also now I have a piece of loot from every end boss we've killed, it's sort of like a souvenir collection. (Vashj's ring, Kael's necklace, Archmonde's robe. I'm even still wearing Malchezzar's cloak, haha.)
Also uh I don't know about you but I'm raiding Friday if there is a raid. Teron go! :rotate:

CHA CHING
On the bright side, I made that money back by buying stars of elune off the AH, cutting and relisting them for 50g a piece.

Likewise.
What's 50 silver or 1-2 gold when I'd rather pay that and save myself a 10 minute trip? During that 10 minutes, I can do a daily for 8-12 gold.
