Apparently two peope in my guild are the only people on the server with Major Mageblood, and I am one of the very, very few people (probably all in my guild too) with Super Restoration and Destruction Potions.
Yeah I'd definitely pay an extra gold or 2 to save myself the time/trip out there. So yeah, win/win situation.

What's 50 silver or 1-2 gold when I'd rather pay that and save myself a 10 minute trip? During that 10 minutes, I can do a daily for 8-12 gold.
I don't have to worry about it, when my character reaches the point where he needs a book I just ask my wife to mail him one. She has close to 3k between her characters, and her highest level one is a level 61. But her AH work takes her a half hour or so in the morning before she goes to work, and a half hour or so before bed.
edit: Yah Afty I have noticed that also, just by doing 2 dailies a day, 3 if I spot the Skettis prisoner while destroying eggs, I have gained a fair amount of gold.
FUCKING ECSTATIC: Archimonde down! Huge relief since for me and riz tonight was our last raid before the Christmas break. So if we hadn't gotten him tonight it would've either happened without us on Friday, or we would've been relearning it after everyone came back being all rusty. Just all came together at once, like we expected. No mistakes, just incredibly smooth kill.
And riz finally got a robe upgrade after forever of wearing Frozen Shadoweave, but I guess that's for her to tell >.>

I picked up my second piece of T6 the other night, and while it cost me just about everything I'd earned to date in dkp, it was totally worth it.
5% extra haste on 30% is... 1.5% extra swings, but my god, does it (and the other little upgrades here and there) add up over time. I've gone from "Seriously guys, I used to be #1 or in the top 3 in my guild" to "Okay bitches, ya'll've still got a lead on me, but I'm closing in fast."
Now, we just need 2 more Mainhands to drop in a row.....

The warlock helm token dropped too and I'd have had a 50/50 shot at that instead, but if I won it then the robes would have gone to the other warlock, and I figure helm tokens are more likely to drop often than those robes. Plus I'm sooooo sick of looking at FSW and Robes of Rhonin look awesome.
Now, if Tempest of Chaos had dropped I wouldn't have been complaining either, as it also would have defaulted to me... Oh well.

Another Happy: Our raid was low on healers last reset, so I have respecced to heal through MH and BT for a fun diversion from melting face. Even got Archimondes Healing staff for minimum DKP since the other two priests (both with Gurtoggs staff) were happy to wait for Illidan to give out enough maces for them and the 3 raiding paladins for some reason. Not complaining about it though.

What does he gain by setting the price so low? He's setting the price way below the cost of mats, so I can't imagine how even if he corners it he can make a profit. He obviously isn't crafting them, and no one is about to list for less than 9g--
though I guess, if they do, they're retards and deserve to get taken out of the game by this guy. That's the only way he could generate any volume, but I just don't see how people would list below 9g/stack.

I rarely fight Pickpocketable mobs anymore... just the doomguards for Banish More Demons! While I was still leveling Consortium rep I was Pickpocketing like a madperson, but now that I'm Exalted my main source of lockboxes and potions is gone.

We had a guy in guild who pretty much just stopped playing the game as its normally played and just did the AH thing. He claimed to have made tens of thousands of gold doing that in his a rather epic "help I've turned into an AH whore and I need you guys to help me to play the game by dragging me to instances thread"

Got 2 epic +agi/stam cut in raid, asked if those gems were high in demand, was told "yeah, I just gave you half the supply, lol," felt bad, and got 2 nightseye to prepare to have cut into the blue version by the same GL/Guild Jewelcrafter since I had 2 more slots to fill.
Opened trade, put the nighteye in to have cut.
GL: Are these going into something important?
Me: Yeah, the chest I just got.
GL: T6?
Me: Yeah, I don't want to use up the rest of the epic gems, so I can make due with the blue versions of the 2 gems.
GL accepts, cuts the epic versions, and trades me the 4 gems.
Me: ... I didn't want to take the gems away from the core raiders.
GL: You are a core raider. Have a happy holiday.
GL logs out.
Cuz I'm an emo druid, took a month off so my gear was a full 2 tiers behind the other feral druid in some slots, wasn't part of the learning raids, so I'd mess up on farm content that I was technically learning for the first time...and I'm an emo druid.
Hate: Capernian. Still. She's finding new and interesting ways to infuriate me. Today was apparently free hugs day in Tempest Keep, and sometimes she would. not. stand. still. ever. I ended phase 3 on one attempt almost up by Kael's platform because she kept taking two steps forward after I'd get my range. And then we kept wiping in phase 4 because every single important event in phase 4 kept happening at the same time. Kael would do crap like MC an MC breaker and a warlock (who'd then banish a tree and AoE fear), then launch into Pyroblast just as a phoenix egg spawned.
Bah Humbug: It is possible to kill the opposing faction's Winter Revelers in Shattrath. Christmas isn't coming for the Aldor on Khaz'goroth.

I really like "throw a dagger at someone for 200 damage and then blow Cloak of Skill... dropping me from mind control" myself.
That said, I do quietly cheer for myself while MC'd.
And pray the raid doesn't kill me. (they don't. I usually just get feared or HoJ'd)
... but I do appologize on vent while it's happening. I don't recall my record for "people killed while MC'd", but I do know I nearly caused a wipe at least once.
Mistakes were made.
Also; blade flurry and adrenaline rush were up.

One day Pre-TBC my gf and some guildies were running Strat SM. And my GF MC's one of the Paladin mobs. And as is her custom she starts playing with their abilities to see what cool stuff they can do. And she says to me "Hey Tom, check this out!" and pops the mobs bubble. Which breaks her MC. The mob comes charging down on her and just kills her.
Yeah, was in heroic sethekk the other day, and the shammy got MC'd by the MC totem. He immediately popped bloodlust, and the mobs in that pull all got bloodlusted. And wanted our blood. D'oh.
Bah Humbug: It is possible to kill the opposing faction's Winter Revelers in Shattrath. Christmas isn't coming for the Aldor on Khaz'goroth.
I found that out a few days ago too, and every time I log on/in shatt I make sure to kill the winter revelers. As does everyone in my guild.
Those guys are never alive any more...
Edit: Interesting story about that; Exiled (When you get banished by shatt guards) lasts into arena matches. I'm so lucky they didn't decide to fight me that game
