Vreki totally isn't the kind of name a female orc would have.
Anything with harsh consonants is good to go for me re: orcs.
The RP name nazi officer in question is a troll named Hexoatl, and the other night I had someone going on and on about how that isn't something any troll culture in WoW would name their child, etc.
oatl is a Meso-American suffix, and the trolls are heavily influenced by that design concept. Of course, I have no idea what it means, it might just be "son of" or "the priest" or some other honorific.
Controlling both mines is a very key portion to winning by reinforcements, a lot of people don't get that. and its not as if the mines need many people to cap them. only 1 person if its not defended.
Yep, I like to stealthcap the mines when I played my rogue. My druid should be able to do it soon.
Hate: Oh god upgrading my Zierhut's Lost Treads for druid tanking is going to require me to get 18k honor and forty Eye of the Mother Fucking Storm marks.

But for the love of Christ, Prot Paladins can not tank the defenders. Holy Damage generates zero threat on them right now.
Glee: We've become the number two alliance guild on the server. Apparently this has triggered a mass panic in the former number two guild, including a former douche bag officer who left because we weren't progressed enough. Yeah, I'm a dick who enjoys someone seeing their karmic reward.
Kara doesn't really require DKP imo. We never used DKP in the Beasts, and I just think it's wholly unnecessary for 10 mans. For the bigger stuff, yes, DKP is crucial, I just don't see it making sense for things like Kara.
We never intended to use it for Kara, but since T4 drops there and people will still want to use their points for it, we decided we'd might as well use EPGP for all of Kara.
But most of us are already so geared up from before we started doing 25-mans and implementing EPGP, so the non-T4 stuff is mostly going to offspecs, which costs 25% of normal item price.

Unless you're saving badges for something else, you could do Footwraps of Wild Encroachment.

So noted but only if you bring the popcorn. But the drama is unlikely. Our realm forums are boring that way. Although the last 25 man progression thread got taken down by the moderators.

Heheh last night when we realized he wasn't bugged anymore was pretty amusing. Our first kill we did it properly, but every week since then he's been bugged out, so like half the raid had never even done it the real way. Before getting someone to respec to tank we'd always check to see if he was going to bug out, so we did that last night, and he wasn't bugged. So one of the paladins was heading out to spec prot but the raid leader was like "No wait let's try that one more time to see if he'll bug out!" as if doing the fight properly was the worse thing in the world.
Then again the two wipes due to frost nova confusion did mean we had no time to go to Gruul for his DST so I suppose he had a reason to be grumpy.
As vocal as some of us are, raiding Prot Paladins at the BT/MH level are rare still. There is a huge crop of them coming up in Kara and five mans now, but alot of them lack experience. And a large chunk of them are getting shitty advice or not understanding why we do certain things. My guild has the insane luxury of having two, and that's only because we both fought to create our spots. Alot of paladins didn't have a guild willing to give them a shot.
Sort of. He's supposed to be but he still ends up having to spec holy a lot due to lack of keyed healers. We didn't use one regularly until this month though. Not really necessary except to make Hyjal go faster (holy paladins always tanked the Tidewalker adds just fine).
Happy: I fished up the rare orgrimmar fish today on my alliance druid. I was there last night to kill the auctioneers as the culmination of a group of us fighting some horde from duskwood down to STV and then taking the Zep to Org and then I got stuck there when we failed miserably. I decided to make the best of the situation and came back this morning between classes to find a hiding spot somewhere and cast.
A hunter ended up coming up to me and standing there, I think he may have seen my champion of the naaru title sticking out from behind the rock I was hiding behind and casting through, but we just did the wave/hug/hug emotes and he sat there for 20 minutes while I fished. Now I just have to figure out where the hell you fish in IF...
The pool of water near the rogue/warlock trainers, I think it's the only spot in IF with water. There used to be a message saying, "You're not allowed to fish here." before a recent patch.

Sometimes its fun to be an asshole. A week ago I was questing around on my warrior alt. While on a gathering quest I ran into a druid, who found it horribly entertaining to follow me as I gathered the items from the ground and shift into travel form, run past me, and grab the item I was headed for. Requisite /rude and such of course. This went on for a while until I ran off and went to kill some stuff, he followed and tried to tag stuff before I could. In return I set up a naked set in itemrack, ran towards a mob, and got naked right before it aggro'd. He got the first hit in of course, but I ran around body pulling several others. Being naked I went down pretty fast, right next to the druid. Yay revenge kill.
Now today I got into a ZF group with my warrior, the druid was there healing. He seemed to have forgotten about me. I was still feeling a little assholish though, so I flagged up for the run. During the course of the run I logged into my friend's horde hunter on a different computer and moved him to outside the instance. Once it was over and the druid left, I shot him full of arrows. I ran by his corpse on my warrior and went to turn in quests, ignoring cries to help kill the big mean horde.

^^ Hilarity.
The funny part is, that druid was probably some 11-12 year old, giggling to himself, with his friends, and thinking he's being really funny and clever to do it.

You got your payback by getting him killed. Doing this to him was scummy.

I'll admit I was being an asshole, I said so in the post. I'm usually pretty passive and let shit go, but I couldn't pass it up. At the very least I only killed him once and didn't corpse camp the guy.
Exuberant Exuberance: Huzzahs! I finally got it. No more checking in on the level 24 night elf druid camped by the Specialty Dress Maker up in Moonglade, for I now have [Formal Dangui]! Again!
The first one I lucked out on by arriving in Moonglade for druid training at the right time. The next one, I camped an alt here for three months. But now I possess two of the rarest white-quality item in the game. Limited quantity on that vendor, but the outfit's respawn time is measured in months. Now if only I could get Dire Maul rare spawn bosses to give me another Orb of Deception, I'd be able to stop camping my mains out there as well.
Woo. I picked up a healing belt and necklace, Shermanar Great Ring, and Girdle of Treachery from Kara tonight, and got enough badges for my idol of terror. We also did all that, clearing every boss but Netherspite, in 3 and a half hours.
Hate: Shitbrick paladins who think they can heal low level instances just fine. Just because they spec'd holy, cause "OMG HOLY PALDINS OWN PVP!!!!"
Hate: Those same shitbrick paladins who think they absolutely have to wear mail/plate. Resulting in a crappy mana pool and no +healing.
Hate: Having to beartank, instead of heal, because some jackoff shitbrick paladin thinks his awesome, slow casting 1 heal, can save the day; resulting in wipe after wipe, cause they can't keep up in damage. When I'm in decent gear for my level, and spec'd feral.
TLDR; Paladins suck at healing, until higher levels.

Hate!1: So, I had a rather emergency doctor's appointment today. I had to take what they had available, and so I took an appointment which would make me late for SSC. Whatever, I do what I have to.
They down Hydross, raid first. Lurker after a few attempts, and I get the invite (someone finally had to leave) right before they start Morogrim attempt #2. Blah blah, we kill him. Talon drops. Let me explain to you our DKP system.
You get 50 for a boss kill; 25 for learning new trash if a boss doesn't get killed; 10 for showing up 15 minutes before the intended first pull.
Now, as I've mentioned before, there were three Rogues at max DKP -- 285. The T5 shoulders dropped off VR, and because all three Rogues had higher DKP than the Pallies/Shamans, only the Rogues were allowed to bid ... except, we don't bid, we /roll. One Rogue abstained, the other outrolled me and got T5 shoulders for the minimum DKP for a T5 token -- 200. In our system, you always get the item for its listed minimum.
So, I was at the doctor for two bosses and the other Rogue got 110 for being there + doing them; this put him into the lead, and he got Talon for the minimum DKP uncontested because that's how our system works (and it's fair, in that sense, to this point) -- the great failing of this is that, now, I am at 445, and he is at 355, and the Rogue who got the T5 shoulders is also at 355 ...
so, if I miss another two bosses, I fall behind both Rogues and our guaranteed, uncontested system guarantees that I cannot get loot unless they both pass/until they both get something.
And, since the other Rogue wants the Talon/T5 Shoulders, there isn't even a "yay, they got theirs so now I can get mine" option.
Hate!2: The other two Rogues (both Swords) got in a group that was Feral Druid + Enhancement Shaman + Fury Warrior + themselves ... while I was in a group with the healers.
Why yes, they are going to outDPS me!, and it doesn't just mean "olol Mutilate sucks farm honor faster." They had Battle Shout, Windfury, Heroism, Unleashed Rage, and Leader of the Pack. I had ... a Shadow Priest.
I'm not saying that their buffs necessarily made up the 100+ DPS gap, but it and the gear differences certainly mean some of it. Don't just pick on my spec because of it, if you're not willing to help me get the gear to change. I'm farming honor, but I completely and totally detest PvP and I'm doing it just because I am being subtly and not-so-subtly told to.
Or, you could have given me Talon, and I would already have had enough honor for an offhand. And I could've done better.
But instead, your DKP system failed, and on top of it I look bad in the WWS.
